This keyboard is exactly what I wanted. The keys have a little bit of height but not too much, and not too little like on a laptop - they're just right. The size of the keys is perfect, too. And, the keyboard sits fairly flat with very little angle under the back edge. In fact, there are no adjustment feet under the corners. I like a very flat keyboard, so this is is what I was looking for. And, last but not least, there aren't extra contours or padding areas. making this thing very slim from bottom edge to top edge (think from space bar to F keys). I don't have a lot of room on my desk and wanted a modestly-sized keyboard, but with 10-key and all the extra buttons like up/dn/L/R and the home/delete/pg up and down etc. This is exactly what I wanted and it was cheap! I have had this keyboard since October/ November 2023. It is now the end of May 2025 and have had zero issues. I am a fast typer and no problems with keys sticking or lagging at all like others have commented. There aren't any "feet" on it which I didn't like at first but I got used to it very quickly. My only issue now is one of my kids got a tiny drop of syrup inside one of the keys and it sticks. I was hoping to see if the keys could be removed, cleaned, and added back. I have not found that info yet. I don't want to pop them off if they won't pop back on. ... show more

The only drawback we can find on this keyboard is there is no risers for the back of the keyboard to tilt it. So if you plan to use this full time and you like your keyboard at a little bit of an angle I would keep looking. Otherwise it works great, and the keys are quiet.

    • Works well but minor issue when using with Macbook
Great keyboard, but it doesn't play well with my Macbook. I have to unplug it and plug it back in every time. Fortunately it only has to be done once so it's not a major issue, but still a little frustrating. Other than that, no complaints. I'd buy it again at this price point.

I have been having problems with my desktop PC. I was getting signals like the PC was having disconnect problems with internet service. Also, the wired mouse would stop working. Just trying something different, I decided to purchase a new wired mouse (Tecknet - see separate review) and new Amazon Basics wired keyboard. This has been a great purchase.     • Good choice for a budget keyboard
Considering that it is a basic keyboard, it feels like amazing quality and durably built. The keys are responsive and feel great for typing. While it does not come with fold out legs, the angle is comfortable and I did not notice any desire to change the angle.

    • Best cheap keyboard you can find!
I've tried probably 7-10 cheap keyboards over the past year for my work desk. Most of them have button issues where the number pad enter and zero key jam up as well as other keys like even the space bar. This Keyboard has keys like a laptop that work no matter the angle you press on them. 10/10 great keyboard. Keys are also super silent just as a laptop. ... show more
