  • A QWERTY keyboard is pretty darn basic-however this is a necessity
Number of Items: 1
This purchase was made necessary because there is a challenging environment that has damaged my Dell XPS-Windows Desk Top computer. The challenge falls to an environment overrun by Cats and more Cats, some are housed in Cages and most are not. These felines lay very willfully almost at will and have caused an unwholesome environment, they are dirty and require much to mitigate their place at all, however, the care required to properly see to this unacceptable over-run environment is that is in fact there are much to many to many and to many in the extreme that there are so many Cats that I have tried to protect my Dell Desk Top as well as other items that I wrap my HP 8710 Printer in plastic in an attempt to at least slow the progression of disaster yet both Cat dander(hair) as well as litter(sand) is everywhere and that is not the only dirty actions by these unwelcome challenges to cleanliness and a healthy environment. it has caused suffering and a loss of integrity as per my Desk Top Keyboard. I have had instances when they are found to be laying all over my keyboard and my Monitor shows even events that are sometimes difficult to undo. The ability that Amazon has provided has aided my hope to use it as best as I could under circumstances that are unacceptable. The Qwerty keyboard is reliable with Amazon being both reliable and efficient in its ability to deliver these items however required in a timely manner. The costs remain cost-effective and have allowed this opinion to at least in part maintain integrity as it applies to these critical components. ... show more

  • BASIC RELIABLE KEYBOARD
Number of Items: 1
I don't do gaming, so I can't speak to how well it works for that. Hence only 3 stars for gaming. Ergonomic, well, there's nothing particularly ergonomic about it. It's a standard, straight-forward keyboard. No twists, no turns, no raised letters. Just a plain keyboard, which is what I wanted. I've had it now for at least 6 months, I think, and the only problem I've had is one day the shift key got stuck. I have no idea why or how. I unstuck it and all has been well since then. If you're looking for a simple, straight-forward, highly affordable keyboard, this is it. Oh--and the letters have not even begun to slightly wear off the keys. Important point for me. It does NOT have adjustable/raisable feet on the back upper ends, but it is built to sit a bit higher at the back than at the front. Not noisy at all. All in all, this non-techie, simple user, is very happy with this keyboard. ... show more

  • Great keyboard for the price
Number of Items: 1
This is a great keyboard for the price. It's very quiet to type on so I don't have to worry about having people hear me type while in meetings. I also love the simplistic design of it. My only complaint is the F and J indicators could be slightly more elevated.

  • It's a cheap minimalist keyboard
Number of Items: 1
It's the bare minimal of what's needed to run a pc and it just works. It does what it needs to do. The only way this could be better is if it was backlit. I mean leds are cheap and it is 2023 standard basic white backlit leds should kind of be basic at this point, right? I mean it would at what 3 cents to the cost I think we can make that leap. ... show more

  • Properly sized, but the indicators for F and J are not great.
Number of Items: 1
The media could not be loaded. I bought this because the J key on my last keyboard has worn down such that the indicator nub is not easily recognized by a gentle touch, so I end up having to look down at the keyboard to find my correct finger placement (or press a key then adjust based on what key was pressed, then delete the character). That kind of defeats the purpose of having the indicator there in the first place, and slows me down (because then I need to find where I was looking on the screen again). This keyboard is a bit heftier than my last (the one it's replacing), and has a few extra features (notably the media control buttons). It's also a few dollars more expensive, which is expected since shipping is baked into the price on Amazon. The key touches aren't terribly loud (though they seem to be on the video for whatever reason), and they've got appropriate resistance to being pressed. I don't suspect I'll accidentally hit any key and have it register a keypress just by my finger glancing over it. The main issue I have with this is the indicator nubs on the F and J keys aren't very pronounced. You can see from the pictures I took that they're just barely there. If that's what you're looking for: Fantastic. It's not what I was hoping for, and so it gets a star removed for me. Other thoughts: I like the placement of the Fn key in relation to the location of the Ctrl key (especially on the bottom left corner). With other keyboards I've used the manufacturer puts the Fn key on the outside, so when I go to copy and paste I get annoyed instead. I just always expect to have the furthest key on the bottom left as the Ctrl key. ... show more

  • Very Legible

I had a Logitech and didn't like the tall keys. These are much lower profile and the lettering seems to be slightly bigger and more legible.
