I priced and researched TV mounts for a 65" flatscreen that would be a part of our major kitchen remodel. I saw some as high at $300+ and was told that I should not trust my TV to anything less expensive than that. When I found this Amazon Basics option I thought it was too good to be true, but the reviews were consistently positive. At this price point, it made sense for me to over-purchase a bit in terms of weight limit. My TV is 50 lbs but I chose the AB mount with a 100 lb capacity. The mount ships with a collection of clearly marked screws, bolts, and washers to accommodate virtually any installation/attachment scenario. The mounting slot on the main piece that attaches to the wall is wide enough to allow you to get into a stud on both sides even if they are not exactly 16" apart. I'm a "measure 5 times, drill once" kind of guy and even for me it was a quick install process. I only needed help from my wife to lift and place the TV onto the articulating arms after the mounting tracks were fixed to the back of the TV. I will admit that after the job was done and the TV was floating in the perfect position, she said "I gotta be honest, I didn't think you would be able to pull this off." Thanks dear! Our kitchen layout is such that we sometimes adjust the TV angle for optimal viewing from different locations. The dual arms are built like a tank and the TV moves as needed w/o any fuss or extra play. This is a great buy!! NOTE: After installation I wanted a way to manage the cable box and wiring behind the tv. I ordered a U-shaped plastic bracket that is designed for this purpose. But then I located a cheap, thin metal bookend and bent it into a U-shape, drilled a couple of holes, and it is a perfect DIY solution.

Solid, heavy, and functional. For the price, this is surprisingly well made. You will need tools, be at least a little handy, and you'll be much happier with a helper for all but the smallest screens. I managed a 65" LG (ca.2020) by myself, with a bit of struggle, as an average height/size male. Would not recommend it. I would not physically have been able to install a larger screen by myself. Also keep in mind some screens (OLED) are much more delicate than LEDs and should not be manhandled. Some brief negatives: the instructions are awful, more confusing than helpful. There's no guidance for how high to mount your TV, nor how far up/down the back of the unit the VESA rails should go. I don't dock a star because bad instructions are almost requisite for generic brands. Do some online reading before you get started. There's a lot of "extra" hardware, but there's no bolts for locking down the front/back tilt, which at least for my screen caused it to droop until I wedged in some bolts. I dock a star for this obvious oversight. Pictured: basic version, fully articulated and off-center. One other important caveat - once this is mounted, it'll be hard to get to the back of the TV, especially if it's a large one, high up, or in a recessed area (such as mine, where there's no side access because of nook walls on each side). You want to decide how and where to run your cables (and attach them) before hanging the TV. A good basic choice if you don't know what you want in a TV mount. But functionally I would cap this model at 65" maximum.

To be honest, I was skeptical at first on purchasing an "Amazon" branded item, especially for something that would need to securely and safely hold my 4K TV in home office. Once the package arrived, the weight alone started to ease my nerves, (fairly heavy). Then, unpacking, I realized this thing is a beast. No cheap plastic or flimsy metal. This is EXTREMELY sturdy and well made. It came with many different types and sizes of bolts, washers, etc for various mounting options, (concrete, wood studs, etc). As soon as I mounted the main frame to the wall, my nerves vanished and I was ready to connect my TV to it. It adjusts out from the wall easily and can be tightened/locked once you have it exactly where you want it and you can easily tilt the angle of the TV up or down for optimal viewing. I've had this mounted for 3 weeks with a 55" 4K TV and I'm VERY happy with it. Will be purchasing 2 more for TV in Master bedroom, (50" TV), and wife's office, (65" TV). I highly recommend this TV Mount!

I'm giving this product 5 stars even though I had to return it. The item is exactly as advertised but I didn't realize when I saw it that the holes on it are a bit limited...and with todays construction standards you can't guarantee studs are going to be perfect. I was one of the unlucky ones where the holes didn't meet up with the studs, but the is a seriously strong, well designed and terrific wall mount. The ONLY reason I didn't mark it easier to install was because of the lack of holes so you'll either have to purchase another product (which after seeing how good this one was) or make your own holes in the bracket (which I also didn't want to do). Terrific product though, I WILL definitely buy this again if I ever have a wall that will work with it.
