Works great if it works. The first one I received had one output broken. The sound wasn’t coming through one output. The picture quality was also questionable. I am glad I exchanged that broken piece. The second one I received works great.

It's hard to write a review for something like this because ... well, either it works or it doesn't. This one does. Plug in an HDMI cable, and it'll split it into two, duplicating the output. Now you can send an HDMI output to two different monitors. And it's cheap. What's not to love?

Item arrived late, then once I got it, I set it up according to the instructions, and it didn't function. I tried a different USB port on my computer, and that made it function for about five minutes, then the audio got crackly and messed up. I attempted to plug it into an outlet instead of my computer, and it blew a fuse. After that, I tried using it plugged into my PC again, with the same audio issues. This is exactly what i needed. Small and compact with metal casing not cheap plastic. I use this to split the signal from my camera as a reference monitor before hitting my computer, works like a charm!

I've used this on different computers, Mac and PC with different tv's for power point presentations and there hasn't been any problems. I would purchase a 1 in and 3 out as well, if Amazon Basics made one.
