Man oh man! I really like my Amazon Basics plier stapler. I have owned about a million of those duckbill staplers that struggle to staple two sheets of paper together. Never again. I stapled 10 sheets of heavyweight paper together with my plier stapler and it didn't even blink. And, it was easy. I didn't have to sit it on something sturdy, line up the paper and hope it stayed that way, then give it a whack. Unlike the duckbill model, the plier stapler works smooth as silk. No whacking reuired. I don't want to be a spoiler so I won't tell you how to load it with staples but take my word for it, it’s easy. Here's a clue. Hold the staple body by both ends between your thumb and fingers. Put the body up and the handle down. Mash the anvil that bends the staples into the chrome body that holds the staples. You are halfway there. All that's left is loading the staple body with staples.

I originally purchased this in lieu of another similar stapler to staple fabric (prior to sewing). I chose this one mainly because of the huge price difference. I have ended up using it for paper stapling and it is SO MUCH EASIER on your hands. I will eventually use this for my intended purpose, but for now, I will use it stapling papers together. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this stapler.

I bought three units. Two worked flawlessly with standard Swingline staples. The other one refused to work. It kept trying to force two staples out at a time, every time. So, I examined the space where the staples exit the machine, and noticed it was slighter larger than the others. So I took a hammer & carefully banged on the end of the staple mechanism just enough to close the gap slightly, and it now works well. It is a bit noiser than the other two, but is at least usable.

We use staplers at work to secure packages all day. We have gone through so many over the years. I haven’t come across another brand that is, how do I say, idiot proof 😂 No problems with it jamming at all! Which honestly is the most common problem we’ve had with every other stapler…

The most useful stapler I've ever owned. Easy to hold and maneuver for stapling tight areas. The stapler itself is sturdy and the staples are set in place easily with no jamming. Excellent for crafts and everyday use. Throwing away all others.
