I can't praise this little gel pot enough. A storage room reeked of cigarette smoke and I was worried I would never get the stench out. I decided to give the amazon odor eliminators a chance before looking into pricier options. They had great reviews and are very affordable. I opened one up, left it in the storage room over night, with the door sealed shut. I was so excited to find the cigarette stench completely gone the next day. These little things are miracle workers! I decided to put one in the bathroom with my cats litter box as well, and it has made a noticeable difference. The cat litter smell isn't completely gone, but I really wasn't expecting it to completely erase that scent. There's only so much you can do for a poo box. But I was truly surprised at how quickly it removed the cigarette stench. I'm really glad I gave these a chance and I was able to save some money by doing so. This is one of several Amazon brand items I've purchased over the past couple months, and I've yet to be disappointed with any of the items. 10/10, highly recommend.

I bought this for my room as we share it with our daughters smells just started sticking around that not even deep cleaning (multiple times) wouldn’t help and this just did the thing. However I give this a 4 star just because it said odorless but when I opened it… oooff it smelled like chemicals to me I kept it in my room for less than 1 hr I believe walked back in and the nasty smell was gone however I got a headache from it so I took it to my living room hoping the smell would calm down and it did so the next day brought it to my room and it’s working no headaches any more.

This fragrance free odor eliminator was purchased as I have scent sensitivity. Once opened, I was hit with a strong chemical smell that can me compared for a harsh cleaner. Needless to say, I am unable to use this product not only because it smells awful but I am concerned fabrics in the room will pick up this odor as well. Update: I shared this product with family who is able to use it. They report it has been working well! BUT the recent $$$ jump makes these not worth it.

This supposed odor eliminator, which states it uses charcoal and is fragrance free, has an incredibly strong industrial disinfectant odor. It's like one of those old gel air fresheners from the 1970s. The smell it leaves behind is much worse than the perfume and diaper smell I was trying to get out of the car I just bought from the nice elderly couple. Placing these in my car has put back my odor reduction efforts by a week or more. I'm going to need to do another round of carpet scrubbing with vinegar and unscented detergent and follow it up with more ozone just to get back to the 'mild reek' point I'd reached prior to placing these hideous stench emitters in it. I've gone through all the listed ingredients and none of them should have the smell associated with them. Perhaps I got a bad batch that were contaminated with perfume from another production run. I don't know. But I will definitely never use this product ever again.

If you're looking at this product you obviously have a smell you want to get rid of and I'm telling you now this will do the job. My bf decided to rescue a family of kittens, plus we already had 4. We have a lot of litter boxes but the kittens still urinated on any and everything in our garage. You could literally smell the garage while standing in the driveway. It was extremely embarrassing. I tried everything to get rid of the smell. I happened to come across this product while looking for something else and thank God I did! I placed 2 of them in my garage one night just hoping it would soak up the smell just a little bit. The next morning the smell was completely gone. We couldn't believe it. I don't know what kind of magic is in that jar but as long as we have pets we will continue to buy these. The only downside was that because the garage is such a big space it needed to be replaced after about 10 days. But I've gone down to keeping just one out there and it gets the job done. It's worth buying again and again if that means my house doesn't smell like cat urine!
