    • Comfy rug --don't wash!

Good rug --just don't wash it! I've found these rugs to do the trick. Had one in my living room that I washed (to get rid of any cat hair) so i could use at my work studio. While it a great rug in the home --soft, comfy, looked nice, easy to vacuum [except, like one person reported, they're light and lift up when vacuuming if a lot of suction, especially the corners] --after washing even in gentle cycle in a commercial washer and lying flat to dry--the thin layer of padding inside crumpled like a cheap suit, and I tried in vain to smooth out the lumps that were baseball-size and big enough to trip over, to no avail. Eventually I cut open smallish slots on the back side and removed the padding, but then it made it so thin and flimsy that it would kick up just walking on it --so I got right of it so no client would trip on it, and replaced it for a new one. At $100 for an 8x10 (I'm assuming it wouldn't hold up to any wet steam cleaning, but don't know), the comfort, look and good price make it worth it) -- just plan to replace when it gets dirty. I love it. It is so soft, the quality appears very good for the inexpensive price point. I find that it stays in place fine, does not move. My dog loves it too! Absolutely satisfied with this rug!

Decent quality for the price, don’t expect miracles. It is somewhat slick, but extremely soft. The color was exactly as shown and my cats love it. It only slides around a tiny bit, putting it under the furniture helped.
