I've seen several reviews and seen videos where the bags were torn and one video where someone couldn't get the bag open. This has not been my experience. These bags are pretty tough and easily as good as the name brand bags. Shaking a bag a couple of time to get it open sometimes does not work. You have to put your hand inside to separate the sides of the bag to open it just like any name brand bag you'd buy. It's not rocket science. As for the ripped bags, that has not been my experience. In the case that is yours I'd assume that Amazon would replace them. I've been ordering these bags for awhile now and have had no problems. Great buy!

So far I have ordered these a few times. These are comparable to any name brand. The bases are sturdy and thick, and they can hold a lot. I like the ease of the tie, and really contain scent from food smelling. I only give it 4 stars since some of them will bust at the top edges when you put it on the garbage can itself. It is not all of them, but enough to notice it. I would still recommend them though! It comes in a thick box with a perforated hole you can use as a dispenser.

As good as the high priced kitchen bags. I've never had one to leak or puncture. There is a pleasant scent that is not over-powering. Holds a lot even when garbage is stuffed in it without tearing. They seem to stretch a little and the ties are strong and doesn't pull out of the bag or break. As thick as the name brand type.

I've use bout half of the box. No problems. They feel thick and pretty durable. Haven't had one tear pulling it out of can yet. They fit a 13 gallon trash can well. They are white and unscented. Very easy to use. I'll be ordering more of these.
