The Amazon Basics Faux Linen Blackout Curtains completely exceeded my expectations. Right out of the package, they look surprisingly upscale for the price. The faux linen texture gives them a soft, elegant appearance that fits perfectly in both my bedroom and living room. Even though they’re budget friendly, they don’t feel cheap at all. Most importantly, the blackout effect is excellent. Once these are closed, the room becomes noticeably darker, and it has made a real difference in my sleep. Streetlights and early morning sun are no longer an issue. They also help reduce outside noise and keep the room temperature more stable, which is a huge bonus. The grommets are sturdy and make the curtains incredibly easy to slide open or closed. Each panel has good weight and drapes nicely without looking stiff. They also hang evenly without much effort, and any wrinkles from packaging relaxed pretty quickly. Installation was simple, and the size offers great coverage. The black color looks clean and modern and pairs well with almost any décor style. Overall, these curtains deliver on every promise.
