I was very impressed with this chair. It's incredibly soft and comfortable. When you receive it all you have to do is unfold it. If you don't need it out it can easily be folded back and slid into the closet or under the bed. It does hold onto cat hair but a quick once over it the vacuum and or lint roller and its good as new. If you are pretty tall or over 250 lbs this might not be the most comfortable chair for you. It may be a little hard to relax with where the top of the bar hits you in the back and the bucket seat might not support you in the best way. It's about what I expected for the price. I just wanted an extra chair to put in my home office so people can sit somewhere besides the floor or the dog bed when they come in. I take issue with it being called "faux fur" though. The fabric is more of a velvety texture than it is a furry one, and I actually prefer it this way. My two dogs love to hang out in my office with me and I had concerns about a fuzzy black chair getting encrusted with dog hair so I bought a large throw to go over it. That has worked really well so far. It's been a couple months and the chair is still fur-free. Meanwhile, my bathmat had to go in the wash yesterday because it was absolutely covered in fur, and my dogs don't even go into the bathroom. I shut the bathroom door at night to keep them out. The fur is pervasive, so I do recommend a throw if you're in the same situation! Seems like it would be tough to keep this thing vacuumed all the time. ... show more

I know this will sound odd but our dog only sits in a chair or couch and/or chair that is elevated. In an effort to keep her off the couch, we bought her this saucer chair! She has claimed it as hers and immediately gets in it without being told. We bought a cover to go over it to prevent it from being stained however, the seat cushion itself can be washed if necessary. I almost stole it from her it was so comfy but she made it clear that would never happen.
