Got this 50oz. bottle of Amazon Basic Dish soap on a whim, it was on sale , I had to try. I don’t regret buying it, I only regret not buying this instead of my big D brand favorite earlier . It works well for dishes , fast on fats and oils but I also can use it to wash my hands. It smells fresh and is just as versatile as any other dish soap. A drop or two into my mop water , cleans and no sticky . It’s gentle on my hands too . The top is sturdy enough that it should not break before bottle is empty. Will buy again !

I have been using this dish soap for several weeks and I am very happy with the results. It cuts through grease quickly without needing a lot of product, so one bottle lasts a long time. We've always used Dawn dish soap and decided to give the Amazon version a try. It was a pleasant surprise! The Amazon brand actually smells a little better, with a slightly lighter fragrance than Dawn. The consistency is comparable, thicker than most other dish soaps. We use it for so many more things than just doing dishes. My husband uses it as a body wash and making the transition from Dawn to Amazon was simple and he said he likes it better! I use it with hydrogen peroxide as a pre-treatment for laundry and a spot remover on carpet, furniture and fabrics. It is effective, without any damage or discoloration to the fabrics.

This Amazon Basics dish soap was good but not great. I won't be purchasing it again for a few reasons. When you look at this you might immediately think this is just like Dawn blue dish soap but cheaper. No it's not. The scent on this I don't care for and I prefer the scent of Dawn much more. I also think this soap might have more water in it because it doesn't last as long in/on my sponge as dawn does so I have to use more of it. Also the shape of the bottle is big and wide and it's hard to get a good grip on it and I find the soap drips out and down the cap more than others. It does work as it's supposed to and cleans fine.
