They are not "adjustable". They are almost completely flat, the "zippers" don't actually open, and there is no additional filling to adjust. NOT AT ALL WORTH THE MONEY. Total waste.

This is the flattest pillow ever. If it were to be “adjusted” it would only be removing the stuffing and literally, it would just be like sleeping with no pillow at all. No additional stuffing as advertised. If you Luke a $40 flat pillow, this is your guy. If you like a pillow to be, well, a pillow, steer clear (and I don’t even like super fluffy pillows!). Waste of time even trying this pancake pillow.

I needed a thin, soft pillow. This one was a little thicker, and firmer, but easy to customize. I just filled a gallon zip lock freezer bag with the two top layers of filling to make it thinner to my liking, then a bit more right in the center so I could more easily fluff up the area right under my head. Ideal for me! And if usage causes the down to pack a little, I have plenty of extra fluff to fill it back up as much as needed. Normally slightly firm would please many, but as I said it is easy to soften it and also make it thinner. Also loved that it had no smell like most foam pillows. Just put it in a standard pillow case and off to dreamland.

This pillow is made well and seems like will last. Had been having neck pain and have not had any since ordering these to use for my own bed. At first thought they would be to hard, but seem to be just what I needed. I am a side sleeper not sure if that matters. Only problem I had was the delivery was bad left by UPS on neighbors porch 703 which is a far cry from 708 and being the only house on the block. This problem in no way reflects the seller or the product just glad I had an honest neighbor who gave them to me! Good product and service from the seller!

Since this item is sold under AMAZON BASICS one would expect product to be as advertised. Not the case here ! Pillows arrived today. Returning them right away! Supposed to be filled with poly fiber "balls". Instead just shredded fiber. Extra bag of "balls" did not come as promised. Zippers have no pull so difficult to open. When I did get it open the stuffing got caught up in the zipper making it difficult to close! Don't waste your money!

I finally had had it with awful, old pillows and hard mattress at the relative's house we visit 1-3x/year. I ordered these along with a couple other things to hopefully help make it less painful to sleep there (and at a rental place we were also going to on this trip). Other than the fact that there is a small zipper in one end, these pillows are hardly "customizable". They flatten/lump up/shift easily. They do not have sufficient support for even a medium-firm pillow. These are better than the flat, old "pillows" I was trying to get away from, but they still really aren't great. I would have been better off getting basic pillows at the local chain store for probably less money than bothering to order these. Now I know.

Okay, I have been using these pillows nightly for 8 months now. Still as comfortable as the day I got them. Once I found out how soft I wanted them and adjusted them accordingly, I was set. Eight months later they are still the same softness as the day I stuffed them (yes, you adjust the stuffing to your likeness). I am very pleased that I skipped the $49 My Pillow and opted for these instead. Should they flatten a bit in the future, I have plenty of stuffing left over to add some.
