It took me 3 days of searching to find cube storage that fit into a custom shelving system I made by myself for homeschooling. I wasn't happy but I had to settle with blah beige simply because it was UNDER 11". To my surprise the description of ***Each storage cube measures approximately 11 by 10.5 by 10.5 inches (LxWxH)*** wasn't kidding! My cubes are slightly over 11". Had I known this was a guessing game I would have ordered a better quality in the color that I desired. I need a can of lube and a crowbar to get these in and out of my shelving. Please consider updating your description that these vary greatly in height 1/2"-1" I really think it's a huge difference when you are dealing with a product that may need to be perfect in order to function properly.

I wish I would have read all the reviews before purchasing 18 of these bins! Before ordering I made sure to build some shelves inside my two little boys bedroom closet to help with organizing clothes, etc. I went exactly by what was described as L=11 inches X W=10.5 inches X "H"= 10.5 inches and began to build the shelves to spec. Needless to say I was extremely aggravated to find out they did not fit due to amazon not updating the description even after several complaints. Now I'm stuck with 18 bins, an empty closet and clothes everywhere in the room until I have the money and time to rebuild the closet. I am usually a happy amazon customer, but lately they have been lacking on what products they sell me. This is supposed to be a #1 seller which no doubt it is quality material, but with misleading information I am giving it a 1 star rating.

Bought these to go along with some storage units I had and one set that I bought for our sitting room. They fit perfectly for both ClosetMaid (Amazon) and Ameriwood (Big Lots) units. They are, however, too big for the Wal-Mart bought Mainstays units. So make sure to measure before you buy. Big Lots cost $4.99/single fabric bin, here they're 6 for $16.99. To put that into perspective, if you're willing to wait two days, you're saving about $14.

These are slightly on the small side if you're looking to use these with a cube bookcase. I have two sets of cube shelves from IKEA and these look awkwardly small when placed on them. I used these cubes for a different organizational project.

I was surprised to discover the quality of theses. These were a lower price per cube and are a thicker material than the ones I have from my local big box stores! The Grey is a deep dark rich grey. I’ll update if the handles and bottom fall apart prematurely but they are currently holding their own with no signs of wear.
