This razor showed up in my search results as I was looking for less expensive blade alternatives for the Gillette Mach 3 razors I had used for more than 20 years. I decided to try it, and I couldn't be happier. It is slightly larger and heavier than the Gillette razor, but I quickly got used to the difference. In my opinion, this razor is actually better than the Gillette Mach 3 because the head moves in such a way that it follows the contours of your face better. Been using Gillette atra blades for 20+ years but they just kepts raising their price. At $3 per blade decided to start looking elsewhere. Amazon basics blade cost 1/4 of the price and gives just as close a shave. Another positive on this blade is its open behind the blades so stubble can better rinse out keeping the blades clean. This allows a couple of extra shaves per blade. A negative is this blade is large and a bit more difficult to shave above the lip. But after several shaves its not a problem. Many companies reward their CEO's for short term profits - raising prices makes more money short term but loses customers long term. ... show more
