The night before my trip my suit case broke so I ordered this and this got delivered a few hours later. I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I am with this suitcase. I have two other samsonite suitcases that are similar to this but one is bigger and one is smaller. This is like THE best size suitcase I've ever had. Its manageable to lug around when you're in a new city but its still big enough to carry enough clothing. I think that it looks good and modern and the hard case does seem to protect. Mine has been through 4 or 5 airports now and it don't see any scratches and it feels durable. The wheels and they way I'm able to move it around is awesome and comfortable. Pretty good suitcase. It’s roomy and I love the color. I fit about a 5 day trip worth of stuff in here and I’m an overpacking make up and shoes girly. It held up well for its first international flight. Literally minimal wear and tear that you can hardly notice at all.

I purchased this because the reviews were good and the price was $59 on sale. I've used it for two week-long trips so far and it has held up well. Pros: - lightweight - sturdy handle - good zippers - good rollers - enough room for a week plus trip - one inner side has a zipper enclosure for loose items Cons - does not have outside pockets like a soft-sided bag Durability remains to be seen. I added red tape strips to the sides to help with identification at the luggage carousel. Try it - this really helps. ... show more

Medium-checked orange hard-shelled luggage. I really like this suitcase. It appears tough and held up well during train travel. Did not check the bag and was able to use as a carry on. Used Gorilla luggage straps to secure it, and they were awesome also. Purchased a Forge Lock (luggage does not come with a lock) to secure it even more. I was very pleased with the locks. Lock Instructions very easy to understand. I don’t particularly like the color orange but this was only color available that would arrive in time for me to use on scheduled trip. Excellent. Just got back from Japan a few days ago and this suitcase was sturdy and reliable. This little guy was able to roll smoothly in any direction and went over marble and gravel and rocky surfaces with ease. The sizing was perfect. It was just enough to fit all my souveniors, bulky clothes and hygienic items. My favorite aspect are the side pockets. There is one large pocket that's super convenient and 2 pockets that are mesh. They are spacious too. There is also a small rectangular pocket on the edge which came in handy. This suitcase was halled all the way from LA to Osaka International Airport and back. The orange shell was perfect and easy to spot. At the end of the trip, it only had a few scratches but was still in great condition! I was shocked. The price was affordable too. I had my Samsonite luggage for about 10 years. It had held up well, but the wheels became a little dated and hard to travel with. I decided it was time for something new. I opted for this luggage because of the great reviews. I needed something functional enough without an extravagant price tag. Airports are notoriously rough with luggage, so I don't want to shell out a ton of $$$ for something that'll get scuffed and banged up. I travel 4-5x a year. I haven't used this luggage yet, so I'll update if anything happens once I can use it. It doesn't have a zipper lock on it, but that's to be expected for the lower price.
