I ordered the Amazon Basics 15.6-Inch Laptop Sleeve. Usually when ordering a laptop sleeve, it's listed based on the size of the laptop that will fit in it. So I would expect something called "15.6-Inch Laptop Sleeve" to fit a 15.6 inch laptop exactly. This sleeve is several inches bigger than that. It would likely fit a 17 inch laptop better. In this case, the 15.6 inch refers to the width of the sleeve, not the diagonal dimension of the laptop as laptops are usually labeled. If you're looking for a sleeve that will fit your laptop exactly, I recommend looking up the width and height dimensions of your laptop model, and comparing that to the interior dimensions of these sleeves in the detailed description. ... show more

This sleeve is a perfect fit for my 15" laptop. It provides a good cushion for my laptop. I wouldn't advise dropping it off a balcony but if it were dropped a few feet I think it would protect the laptop. The color was outstanding and the zipper so far works perfectly. I bought this sleeve for travel through airports and the cushiony sleeve makes it easier to hang onto without chance of dropping it like I'd have if I was hanging on to just the slippery laptop.     • Great Sleeve but the zipper pull is coated with rubber/plastic
I like the fact that it is blue but I don't like the fact that the zipper has a plastic/rubber coating on it. I think the zipper pull needed to be the plain old fashion metal pull. The sleeve is padded really good to protect my laptop. I bought this because I was tired of having crumbs from lunch box getting on my laptop while it was in my back pack. It keeps the crumbs off my laptop. I also bought it because my laptop was getting scratched by my textbooks when I would have to take my laptop to class. This prevented the scratching on my laptop lid. I carry my laptop around a lot because I am college student and I study a lot. ... show more

This fits my chromebook just right and is protective enough that my cats cant damage it (since they ruin everything else). I would imagine it would be easy to wash if it got dirty too. I got the dark blue and it's a wonderful color that matches my chromebook. And of course since its amazonbasics you get quality without overpaying. Would recommend. ... show more

Needed something to protect my new 15.6" HP laptop when it's in my backpack. This item arrived today and it is AWESOME! The color is really beautiful (I got the blue) and my laptop fits in it very nicely. There's a little bit of room to spare so it's not difficult to get my laptop in there.     • Good basic laptop sleeve
This is a good quality laptop sleeve that provides basic protection for throwing your laptop in your bag when you're on the go. I have a late 2018 15" MacBook Pro and at 15.6", the sleeve does not provide a snug fit. Not a problem for me but a good heads up to be aware of.
