I use a marker once a day to change the menu for dinner on the sandwich board. Sometimes, I make mistakes and have to write things out a second time. Despite that, each marker is lasting me into the 15th week. I decided to keep track and---give or take a day in the 15th week---I can count on taking another one out just before the 4 month mark comes. I have put a twist tie hook on mine that is taped to it with a few rounds of crappy packing tape. I then hang it tip side down on the side of the white board. This is to keep the ink in the business end. (I do this with pens, too). I always replace the cap and don't keep the sign with the marker on it near any heat or A/C that might be spewing out of the floor. When the marker is empty, I rip out the twist tie hook from the tape and re-use it on the next marker with new tape. I will be buying these again. I am very happy with them.

I bought the Amazon Basics 12-Pack Dry Erase Markers for the kiddos since they were much cheaper than the name-brand options. The markers worked well for a few months, and while they do tend to dry up a bit quicker if not stored properly, the price makes it easy to overlook that. For the cost, these markers give you more bang for your buck and still get the job done. ✅ Affordable Price ✅ Good for Everyday Use ✅ Low-Odor ❌ Dries Up Faster if Not Stored Properly Definitely would buy again for the savings!

low odor is the feature that matters if you're using these in a small office or a classroom. the standard dry erase markers give you a headache after ten minutes at a board, and these have almost no smell at all. they erase cleanly even after sitting on the board a few days, which is where cheap markers fail and leave a ghost of last week's meeting behind. the ink is dark and opaque so it's readable from across a room rather than looking gray and faded. the chisel tip is the right choice for a whiteboard, you get a thick line for headings on the flat and a thinner one on the edge without switching markers. twelve is a sensible quantity, they get lost and dry out and it's nice not to be down to one working marker before a meeting. good basic supply.
