  • HALF the Price!! And they WORK THE SAME!
I really NEEDED these, and could not afford to pay $15.00 for a box of 5 at my drugstore. I got a prescription and my COPAY was $10.00!!!!!!!!! I shopped around, and there they were only $5.00 a box on Amazon. They work in exactly the same way, and are very effective. Tip: peel off about 1/2 to 1" of the protective clear plastic, apply that part to the sore area, and then unpeel the rest of the clear plastic. If you peel off all the plastic at the same time, this patch will flop around and stick to itself. They can also be cut while the plastic is still on them, to fit better on oddly shaped body parts like hand and wrist. ... show more

  • Best Lidocaine Patch
I like that these patches are larger and have more medicine in them than some pharmacy brand patches. The Basic Care patches are also more spongy / had more lidocaine and gave me more relief than other brands. I had been using CVS brand patches that just didn't stick well, were thin and were not as large as the Basic Care patches. ... show more

  • This is an excellent product at an excellent price.
I am currently waiting for my local hospital to begin performing elective surgery, I have a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder which is extremely painful ☹ I am taking morphine and am using a fentanyl patch to try to alleviate the worst of the pain, but I’m still in quite a bit pain. My primary physician recommended trying a Lidocaine patch, which I thought was an excellent idea. I started searching through Amazon to find the best patch. When I came across Amazon’s Basic Care Lidocaine Patch. I read some encouraging reviews. I thought that the percentage of Lidocaine was as high as you could want, and I thought the price was extremely reasonable, so I decided to place an order. Each box contains 5 patches. The size of each patch is 10 cm x 14 cm (that’s 3 5/16 x 5 ½ for all you non- metric types!). That is much bigger than I need to place over m rotator cuff. I’m lucky to be able to cut a few strips out of each patch, sufficient to cover the spot on my shoulder. I’m happy to report that while not able to completely alleviate my pain, it does reduce it significantly. I like the fact that the patch is unscented, and non-irritating, and sticks firmly in place. I need to go to CVS and find something to stick over the patch so that I won’t come off in the shower. Overall, I think that this an excellent product at an excellent price. I can highly recommend it to anyone who needs something to alleviate pain. Right now I am about to cut off a strip and place it on my shoulder. If my shoulder could speak, it would say ahhhh, thank you 😊 ... show more

  • Ahhh, Pain Relief!
I have severe peripheral neuropathy on both feet as well as some pinched nerves. Because it’s on my feet, and active, I found that if I wrap the foot w/patch on with stretch surgical wrap, that the patches remain where I put them. Usually takes a couple hours for absorption then I can get about 15-20 hours if pain relief. I also use on my back and wrist. Definitely work very well! ... show more

  • Just what i needed
I deal with alot of abdominal pain due to Endo, PID and ovarian cysts so Im always looking for something to help reduce the pain. I was a bit leery of the low percentage of lidocaine but to my surprise it helped a lot in reducing the pain enough where i could at least get out of bed and make myself something to eat. I am definitely going to keep these in my arsenal of OTC pain products Ive found to help. ... show more

  • Wanted to like it, but just can't....
I bought this as an alternative to the original product, which I've been using for a while. While this may be with the same active ingredient, it does not yield the same effect at all. A. It's too sticky... when I took the patches out of the package and removed the backing, the patch just stuck to itself. B. It's not sticky enough on the body... it peels very fast, and just gets to be all to annoying. I've used 2 patches so far. Definitely will go back to the leading brand. ... show more

  • Works as well as Salonpas brand
We used exclusively for low back pain. We had previously used Salonpas brand gel pain patches which didn't stay in place & have become more expensive. The Amazon basic care lidocaine patches stayed put, were lower in price & worked as well as Salonpas brand.

  • Work great
I have complex regional pain syndrome in my left leg and foot. I cut up the patch and put it on spots I needed it then wrapped my foot with a self clinging wrap. Had to add tape to wear my shoe (at work). I've been using lido patches for years and this works even better than the aspercreme patches I usually buy. The adhesive isn't the greatest but none of them habe great sticking power. ... show more
