Since most folks who need a pill box are older, this is not an ideal choice. When new, the pill flaps are very had to open. Had to use can opener for leverage. Maybe when it's been open I few times it will get easier. Will try sand paper on the edges.

Very quick shipping. The whole purpose that I bought this pill dispenser is because the front edge is curved to get the pills out. That makes it so much easier. The pill dispenser I had before was completely square and I struggled to get the pills out because they got caught in the corners. You do not have that problem with this dispenser. All the lids work perfectly. They are very strong and secure. I do like the two different colors. I took felt and attached it to the bottom of it so I wouldn’t have to worry about the plastic scratching the nightstand When I’m sliding it back-and-forth to find my pills during the night. As far as longevity goes, it’s plastic it will eventually wear out and break. Would definitely recommend this. especially if you’re having problems getting your pills out of the dispenser. Each dispenser is very large for many pills. You’re able to fit several of the larger pills like glucosamine in each dispenser. The lettering on them is perfectly clear. ... show more

This item is great value for the money. It is made of sturdy plastic and is easy for my husband to use. There are a lot of other pill cases out there that are way more expensive but the functionality and quality aren’t any better than this one. I would buy again.

First of all I should acknowledge the price is awesome, BUT you get what you pay for. My biggest problem is that some of the compartments have a hard time staying shut, in particular the Monday PM & Wednesday PM compartments. The interference fits there are too loose so if you carry that box in a bag around all day, you may have medication fall out. Also, perhaps it was my fault that I did not read the specifications, but as you can see from the second photo the box is about 7” long (a $20 bill is 6.14 inches long) 3” wide, and about 1.5 inches deep. That is way too big for my purposes, but perhaps those dimensions are popular with older people. I was looking for something much more compact. You would be able to carry a mobile pharmacy with that box, and i have a hard time seeing how people could consume that much medication or vitamins. Having said all that, i am sure this box would be perfect for older people who take lots of vitamins and medication and store the box in a stationary position like a closet, droor, or cabinet. So be advised that this product review is based upon MY specific expectations and needs of being compact, mobile, and durability. Another reasonable purchaser having different needs and expectations could reasonably rate this product as a 5 STAR especially when you factor in the price. Initially, I gave this a 1 star review but I realized that would not be fair especially since it was most likely made for OTHER PEOPLE, but specifically not me. I wanted to give it a 2.5 star but obviously that option is not available. So I feel like the 3 star rating is fair. I am not angry with the vendor, but I would advise the vendor to re-tool the plastic injection molds such that tighter interference fits around the individualized compartments achieve the expected security of the contents intended therein. ... show more

I have a small AM/PM 7 day Pill Dispenser but was going on vacation for a month and did not want to take all the bottles. So, I purchased FOUR of these containers. When delivered, they WERE larger than expected (7 1/4 x 3 1/2 x 1 5/16) but there was lots of room for my many pills, even my vitamin gummies fit comfortably. With my vaca over, I gave one of the four to my daughter. This may be a bit bulky but it suits my needs. Better than the little one I formerly used (see pic for the comparison). ... show more

All of the positive comments about compartment size, color, convenience I fully endorse. HOWEVER, Do not begin placing medications into the compartments until you have opened and closed each AT LEAST 20 times each. The latches are extremely tight, and while I fully sympathize with those that hate the times a compartment has popped open at a bad time, This unit will break a finger nail, if not a finger trying to open a compartment unless you exercise each tab. ... show more
