This is a really strong pill case! It's very deep, so you can get a LOT in it. The It does indeed detach easily from the base, so refills are easier. Something that is both a pro and a con: it's pretty difficult to open the individual cases. If you want to keep your pills away from tiny, question hands, this is a good thing. If you've got arthritis, it's going to be difficult to open. I've tried pill cases with multi-color schemes, and they just didn't work for me. I love the plain black-and-white. The Pill Organizer works well with the WHITE container side is for DAY and BLUE container side is for NIGHT. Fortunately I have a label machine. I noticed that the days of the week are rubbing off since I purchased it. I am using my label machine to stick on the days of the week because a caregiver, I do not want my patient to take the pills out of the wrong day. So far the snap on closures are still attached. Those usually snap off after many uses, but this plastic container is holding up quite well.....4 months old. ... show more

Go this for my mom as she sucks at taking her vitamins and hates getting them out one by one. This works great. Quality is pretty good, feels pretty sturdy, not like anything would break or snap off. If you're going on a trip, this is definitely a good buy as you can get a week (or twos) supply, and pack it pretty easily. The lids are a little hard to pop open as the notches are kinda short, but not a major issue. For 5 bucks I was super happy with it. Compartments are a little slim when trying to remove pills, but again not an issue. ... show more

At first, I really liked the deep wells of the pill container for the first month. It worked perfectly however, one day I went to pry open one of the days and it wouldn't open and the harder I tried to pry it open. It just wouldn't open. I have RA/rheumatoid arthritis and my fingers are especially weak due to the damage. The arthritis has caused. My husband went to open the stuck lid only for it to pop off in his hand. I've had to order a new pill container because I have to have one that I can pop up the lids easy enough also need coverage on all days. This may work for some and it might be a fluke that we got one that just didn't work as well. ... show more

Easy to open and the insides of the sections are deep allowing you to hold many larger pills especially capsules which tend to be bulky it also seems to be durable with the sections staying close when moved around but still being able to open easily

This is a good basic pill organizer. Compartments are not too big and not too small. It is hard to open. Probably fine for someone younger but I would not purchase this for a senior citizen with dexterity and strength issues.
