The first word that comes to mind with this shower curtain is substantial. It weighs in at nearly 2 pounds (see photo), which is quite a lot of heft for a 72 by 72 inch shower curtain. The hems seem strong and tight, with no fraying. The 12 holes for shower curtain hooks at the top are evenly spaced, starting the perfect distance from each edge. One of the photos shows how thick the fabric is -- note how the orange book that's partly concealed by a single thickness of the curtain can barely be seen, and the fact there's black writing on the book's not even evident. It's made in China, according to the label (see photo), which says it can be cared for with standard care in a washing machine. It's made of 50% cotton and 50% recycled polyester. All in all, this is an impressive shower curtain as far as shower curtains go. I will be proud to hang it for guest use in the casita, where we usually put visitors we care to impress. ... show more
