I bought these Adirondack chairs thinking they’d be perfect for my front patio that is sheltered from direct weather, but after owning them for less than a year, I’m really disappointed. Despite being advertised as outdoor furniture, they clearly aren't weather or water-resistant. The wood started to warp and crack, and the paint began peeling off in several places. I got the chair + table combination at a pretty exceptional value ($67) but feel this is a good value even at $125+. I’ve bought $60-70 Adirondack chairs before and the juice just isn’t worth the squeeze - they are flimsy, poor quality and are literally delivered in 80 different wood pieces. These chairs are higher quality lumber, pre stained and I’d say the chair is 80% pre-assembled (all of the back and seat pieces are pre assembled). I would highly recommend spending an extra $25 on a quart of Spar Urethane - really brings out the color and guarantees these babies will last 4-5 seasons. ... show more

    • Good Value but excessive body weight may be an issue
I ordered two of these chairs and table because the price was just too good to pass up. The assembly was very easy, came with visual instructions, hardware and hex tools. The finish of the wood was natural and had a good sanded finish with no sharp edges or splitters. Overall the table and chair are a very nice classic Adirondack look. My only concern would be if an individual weighing 200lb could crack the wood slats if they did a sudden seat dump (dropping their body weight on the seat quickly). I am 180lbs and just repositioning my seating, I can hear slight creaking / cracking sound. So now that I know this I will seat myself more gently into the chair. I would buy this chair again because it all came together very nicely and it is very attractive, can't beat the price. ... show more

This was a gift for my daughter! Clear instructions! Everything included! She loves it! I helped her put it together!! Sitting on her balcony porch! Unfortunately the second chair (two chairs and a table between?!) didn't have all the parts that were needed to assemble (no washers!) Customer support wanted me to to return the single chair even though box had been opened and the chair was partially put together? Really? Can't just send the washers? Just bought some nylon washers instead...really?? ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It broke the first time someone sat in it and they will not send any replacement pieces or any repair advice.

it arrived earlier than expected and even though I did not put it together in 15 minutes like one other customer at 75, I'm happy I was able to put it together in 45 minutes - fits the bill perfectly and I hope the paint holds up

Assembly was easy, if you don’t over tighten things it folds up very easily. Ordered one just to see how things went, I will be ordering a second. Only wish it had a cup holder of some kind.
