Our Story - How Everything Started I was in my barn one day about 20 years ago, picking up the loose hay, and thought to myself, there has to be a better way to clean this hay off the ground. The amazing rake is great for large dry or fresh fallen leaves, but it doesn't work very well for damp or wet leaves. I use it to clean the constant leaf fall from three giant sycamores. It's a great tool for huge leaves, as long as they haven't been on the ground for to long. It's smallish, but it's light and it's a good size to work with. I shied away at first, bc the price seemed high. Well, it lived up to the hype! Cleaned the whole yard by myself (WITH no complaints from my bad back)! It was easy to assemble and use. I have a bad back and can no longer use my bear claws. Got this and it was easy to put together. Used it yesterday and it was wonderful. No backache. Easy peasy. I still give this leaf picker upper 5 stars after 4 years, I am a stroke survivor and picking up leaves and garden clippings is really hard with limited use of my right arm but I am able to use the rake by holding the long end of the shaft with my right hand and pulling the sleave that closes the rake jaws. I have used it a lot and it has held up to me sometimes trying to clamp down on stuff that was to heaving for the rake and me to lift. when this one wears out, it may have faded a little but still works great so I hope not in the near future. I will look this company up and get another one. ... show more
