  • My Opinion, (22+ Years Experience)
Size: Bass Guitar Color: Satin Black
For starters, simply pulling it out of the package, I was impressed with the weight; the body has a good, solid weight to it that balances the neck. (My last bass was an Ernie Ball Stingray that cost nearly 10x as much... this bass actually FEELS very similar.) As for playability, I was able to tune it, then plug and play with no issues. I'm sure I will eventually fiddle with the intonation next time I change out the strings, but I can already tell it really won't be anything that drastic. The frets are also flush with the fretboard, (that alone gets a star), so they don't rub against my fingers when I slide my hand up and down the neck. I think that's gotta be a pet peeve for many bassists and guitarists alike. All and all, the bass I received is an overall great bass... not even factoring in the price. In my opinion... Is this a good beginner bass? Yes. Can this bass be used professionally? Yes. Can this bass be used for gigging? Yes. Can this bass be used for recording? Yes. Is this bass good for jazz? Yes. Is this bass good for rock music? Yes. Is this bass good for metal? Yes. Can this bass be used to fix a flat tire? No. At least I don't think so. I know a lot of experienced bassists get into the habit of being overly critical with basses because, I assume, they think it makes them look more knowledgeable... but in reality, it kinda just makes them look pretentious. You should always take overly critical reviews with a grain of salt. Then again, perhaps I simply lucked out and got the only good bass the factory ever made..? ... show more

  • Cheap Bass great sound
Size: Bass Guitar Color: Surf Green
The media could not be loaded. Overall not perfect, but isn’t a big deal I fixed in just couple minutes, the sound is great the electronics and the pickups pretty good, the mint green color is killer. So far so good

  • I love this bass!
Size: Bass Guitar Color: Surf Green - Left-Handed
I don’t see Sawtooth guitars discussed much online. I’m not sure why? I have three of them and I love them all. I am relatively new to guitar so maybe I just don’t know the difference. I bought my first one which was an acoustic on Amazon based on price and reviews. I bought my second one which is a cherry red electric after seeing a review by GuitarMax on YouTube. I did upgrade from the included amplifier. Based upon my experience with those two, I bought the bass. I got all three options to play with and learn from for the cost of one more highly priced single guitar. ... show more

  • This is an awesome beginner bass! This thing is great!
Size: Bass Guitar Color: Surf Green
I'm new to playing an instrument, but I just wanted to say this is an awesome beginner bass! This thing is great! For the price it can't be beat...I had a lot of my musician friends look at it, and they all say its pretty awesome.... Its nice and straight in the neck, and doesn't need a lot of fret work. It has pretty good action. It also has an excellent fit and finish, and the knobs and electronics work great, and function flawlessly. The paint is really nice. The neck just seems to be bare wood, but its sanded really well to an excellent surface, and it's straight. Wipe it down with some wood oil, and it looks fantastic. My bass player friend was very impressed when comparing this to his Squire Precision Bass which is what he recommended we started looking at first for me as a beginner,, but this was half the price. I feel it was money well spent. It had one fret that sat a little high, but I was able to push it down level with a quarter and a hard squeeze with my 2 thumbs. No other complaints. ... show more

  • Rock on! Not Disappointed!🖤🤘
Size: Bass Guitar with Accessories Color: Trans Purple
Wow! Wow! Wow! I have to say that this is up there with the big league brands. Not completely in the same category but up there. Solid construction. Full size. Sounds amazing. I literally took it apart and inspected everything. Body(mmmmm), Knobs, bridge pickup, neck pickup, Neck(Straight), pegs. Quality! The carry bag, though the greatest, is not the worst. The padding is super thin probably enough to keep your guitar from receiving any damage if accidentally knocked over, maybe. The bag has a crazy tonne of pockets for cables or whatever. All different sizes and depths and widths. There are twovDifferent ways to carry it. On your back like a backpack or briefcase style. So, whats included? As well as the carry bag and Guitar I got a 10 foot cable that looked alittle janky but I didn't care cause I have tonnes of cables and all better then this one. Who knows it could actually be pretty decent. Right, I just have it in one of the pockets as just an emergency cable if needed. A pack of like 6 very not bad picks were included. Again, they are not top shelf but definitely not bad at all. Infact ive been using one for the past couple of days when I practice and record my songs, again, very not bad. A mini clip on tuner was also imcluded. That was the biggest disappointment out of all of this. It cheap, it does work, kind of but definitely not reliable. Definitely recommend get a good decent tuner of you don't have one already. And the strap. It's ok. Again, I have multiple straps. I did change. It's not shown in the pic I post but I didn't switch it out for a slightly more comfortable one. Same with the Strings, the strings that come with the guitar are decent. But, I have my favorite brand that I use and that I put on all my guitars. So,.yeah, definitely worth the money. A build that's definitely up there in quality and performance. Really, the only thing I didn't like was the mini clip on tuner and the fact that the purple ( the one I got) isn't really purple like in the picture. So alittle bummed about that but I. Still stand by my 5 star rating. Worth it!! ... show more

  • Quality bass, low price, great purchase
Size: Bass Guitar Color: Surf Green - Left-Handed
Astounded at how great this bass is. I bought it because of being left handed, and because I could return it. I expected to have to return it. It was shipped in great condition, I had to adjust the truss rod, which was no problem. the strings it came with are acceptable. It plays fantastic! No fret buzz. No bad spots. Electronics sound great. Just as good if not better than a Squire P bass. It's heavy. That's to be expected with an inexpensive bass. it's great. ... show more
