It’s not a thick liner. It seems pretty basic in terms of what material is used. I do like that it has metal rings at the top (not the hooks, the rings that are part of the liner shown in my third pic). The liner also has magnets at the bottom which is nice. The color is perfect for my curtain. Appearance though, it’s just grey, nothing special. Durability, I can’t imagine it being very durable but at the same time, what would you possibly do to a shower curtain liner where it must be super durable? Let’s be honest, it doesn’t have to be. We needed an extra long shower curtain and none of the major stores carried them in our area. I am very grateful for this curtain! We live in an area that has hard water and soap scum/mildew accumulates very quickly (no matter how much you clean). I have to replace the liners pretty frequently. The curtain does it’s job but it is a little flimsy and thin. That is why I gave it 4 stars. I have had several clear shower curtains over the years of varying weights and I bought this one recently for my new place and I think it’s my favorite. It’s lightweight so it’s easy to open and close and it lays nicely when closed, becomes small and folds up more easier when closed than some of the heavier weight ones I’ve purchased. I may have gotten the wrong one, this one isn't as thick as i thought it would be, but it works and doesn't pick up soap scum as long as you keep it clean.
