Never used a compression bit before so a learning curve. Cuts as advertised! No tear out, no splintering. You have to cut with one pass, so best for plywood. At 2000 rpm with one pass the router tries to jump - even when not climb cutting. So if you are using in a router vs a CNC hold it tight and go slow. It’s sharp and leaves No damage. Best mortise compression bit I have ever used. Really cuts nicely in different plywood grades including baltic birch at 15000 RPM and 400 IPM with great finish. I recently cut through 1.5" thick marine plywood with this bit running 15000 RPM, 400 IPM and .3" deep passes. Worked very nicely.
