Seriously! I finally cut down the sides of the shipping box. Oh yes, it is packed as if it had been folded for storage and it takes up little space. For assembly, there is a sheet of pictograms - no text to guide you. But in 6 steps the thing is ready to tote lots of stuff. Step 4 is the least clear. ( I thought in the pix it looked like it was lying on one long side) Stand the cart on its wheels and start pulling out the sides. Press down in the center to continue squaring it off. Put the piece that was wrapped around the bundle when it came out of the box as shown in step 5. Finish pushing down until the bottom is flat.

So my initial impress when I saw how small the box was ‘oh no…. this definitely isn’t going to be what I expected,’ but as grandma used to say, “looks can be deceiving.” After we literally wrestled this out of the box we were incredibly surprised that this was way bigger than we thought. Ok, I was the one who was surprised because my husband kept telling me it was just compacted into the box for easier shipping. So fortunately there was almost no assembly required, which was a huge sigh of relief. It came almost completely assembled with the exception of having to install the wheels and insert the bottom liner, then we were off and running. The main intention of ordering this cart was to make some of our gardening and yard work easier as we have a large piece of land and grow a ton of vegetables, as well as have several fruit trees (in addition to my husband’s backyard construction projects), so this has been a huge blessing. The handle is adjustable and the cart is oh so sturdy. There are no worries about it not being up to the job of toting vegetables, debris, wood, tools or whatever else we may need assistance with. Our kids love using it and this had been a great addition to helping with our garden, plus it has saved my back from having to carry heavy loads or even at times been better than using the wheelbarrow. The material is incredibly durable so we know this is going to last us for a long time and it can haul up to 350 pounds of whatever you can put in it so it really is your super-duper everything helper. It folds up easily so we can put it in the truck bed for trips to the nursery for more plants, etc and is wonderful for hauling everything from the truck to our back year oasis/garden/sanctuary. This truly is a total game changer and can accommodate you in so many ways. There is a reason why these carts are so popular because they can do so much and are so incredibly versatile. We absolutely love this cart and it has made working our yard a lot easier. Even our spoiled puppy loves riding in it as we are finishing up our work and putting away for the day. Even if you have small pets that you want to take out and they don’t want to walk far (as I have seen this), you can put your dog in the cart and they can enjoy a relaxing ride while you do all the work! This is a definite winner and a must have for every home because it has so many uses, is incredibly functional, folds up easily and is durable enough that it will last for many years. You will be so happy you ordered this and it will make your life much easier, which is something we all need.

The first thing I noticed when this wagon arrived was how compact the box was that this thing came in. I was shocked, and concerned that 1. this was not going to be as large a wagon as I’d hoped and 2. that there was going to be a lengthy, complex assembly process. Upon taking it out of the box, my concern turned to relief and admiration for the amazingly easy and intuitive transformation from what appeared to be a nearly solid, compressed mass of fabric and tubing to a solid cart. It was as simple as removing the wrap that surrounded it, pulling the frame out in all directions until it assumed its assembled form, plugging the wheels into the four holes on the frame’s bottom corners and then laying what was the wrap across the bottom of the cart’s inside, to add some added toughness. I’ve included a photo that shows how large the wagon is compared to the box that housed it. This thing is designed and constructed to support a hefty payload, up to a whopping 350 pounds, in fact! It’s not your tough-sided super wagon for hauling big rocks, dirt and such. No, this thing has fabric sides and bottom; quite strong, if a bit thin, fabric. But there is also a double fabric bottom panel, as the panel that wraps the collapsed wagon into a very small package is also used to reinforce the bottom when the cart is opened up. The structure that makes up the wagon’s frame and provides bracing for heavy payloads is substantial. So are the wheel assemblies (which include foot-operated brakes on one pair), side structures and the tongue/handle. And, about that handle: it ensures a comfortable grip, and the wagon’s “tongue” design prevents it from falling down when not in use. That’s a very handy feature. Also handy, the two pockets in the front, capable of handling a variety of beverage containers, and the two flat, rectangular pockets at the rear, one of them zippered and protected from the elements. The Amada wagon would be great for taking a small child for a walk, or to walk to the corner grocery store. Better yet, fold this puppy up and easily take it along on a picnic or camping trip, where shuttling food, blankets, etc., will be made simple, helped as well by the large, knobby-tread wheels that can handle dirt trails or sandy beaches. For me, the Amada wagon provides an ideal way to carry camera gear, including stands, lighting, light modifiers and such, from the car to a shoot, whether an office, home or outdoor venue. This thing is a back saver and a time saver and will pay for itself the first time out.
