I used gloves. I took all hardware from an ugly grey pewter to a refreshing antique gold. The hardest part was taking the hardware off. Some of the hardware would not come off so I used a very small pointed brush and brushed it on. One thing to note... this is not like a liquid paint. It's thicker and can get clumpy quickly as it hits the air because it is very fast drying. When I received the 2 tubes I laughed and said well this won't get it done. However, I did all hardware on 2 nightstands, one tall dresser and one long chest and only used half of one tube! I love the end result. Very easy to apply and extremely cost effective. I used this to highlight antique frames for a wedding. The product comes in a very small tube, but goes a long way, I did about a dozen frames and used only a tiny amount. It glams up anything you want!

A little packs a punch. Worth every dime. I flipped my chandelier with antique gold and it’s beautiful! Grab some gloves and go for it. Quick drying and just easy! Forget spray paint. This makes the job look professional.

If you’re on the fence about buying this product, just do it ! Super easy to use. I used my finger to paint this on old vintage frames. It gave them the perfect look i was going for !
