I bought this for my daughter, who usually wears an XL or 14/16 women, for under her skirts. I ended up deciding to keep them for myself (size M/L or 6/8 in women). These are so freaking comfy! I am kind of glad they didn't fit, because I wouldn't have gotten these for myself. You can wear them out without a skirt if you wanted, but they are a little bit see through and are tight enough to see the outline of thongs. I have ordered another pair for her (size 3XL this time) so hopefully they won't be too big, but compared to what we got I think they will work! Will definitely buy more now that I know sizing! They don't really tend to ride up during squats or anything- but, for me personally, I think they're a little too short to wear in a public gym. These spandex are really good. They are super stretchy, so I suggest going one size down. If you want them to be more fitted or help hold things in I’m just wearing it under my dress, so I did not exchange for a smaller size.
