I installed this on my Hobie PA12 to use with a 30 pound thrust 12 volt trolling motor. Finally got to take it out last week and the weld broke. You might try another brand.

This is my second one purchased, to install on the bow and stern of my Kayak. As a certified YouTube engineer I felt compelled to write this review based on what I received. Light weight, fits perfectly with my Newport trolling motor 55 lb thrust. I had to make a custom mount because my kayak didn’t have one. Get 4-4.5 miles per hour with wind at my back on my inflatable 130 Blackfoot. Lip around side and top of mount keeps it from sliding off.
