This went into a 1999 Honda CRV with a manual transmission. While this cooler has provisions for a transmission cooler I am not using them with the manual transmission not requiring an external cooler, but will be nice for those CRV’s with an automatic transmission. I did need to give the steel fan for the A/C a slight tweak so that the mounts would be at the correct location to mount the fan to the new cooler, but it was not so far off that it would not work. The wall thickness on the inlet and outlet are slightly larger than the factory so some silicone spray and force was required but made a nice snug fitment on the hoses. Placement of the upper and lower mounts are spot on, I was able to reuse the lower rubber isolators which put the upper mounts in the perfect spot. Keep in mind when purchasing coolant this holds more coolant than the factory cooler. The cooler that I received came with a new cap which was very thoughtful. Overall this is a very nice all aluminum unit, I am glad that it exists in a reasonable price range for the CRV. I don’t see why this unit would not give me many years of service. ... show more

I can only give it 2 stars and that’s because I could make it work and get the car going again. The whole radiator core is twisted which didn’t let the fan bolts line up. It made getting the radiator mounts hard to get in place since the upper tank was moved over by probably an inch. Definitely not worth almost $200 even though it is all aluminum. ... show more

    • Now this was a good deal
it came in fast and its nice and works a lot better and the a/c is colder now and we went w/ 80% coolant 20% water
