*Edit* After using the sticks the bottom will kick out if the stick sags down the tree much at all. I took a drill bit that barely fit in the Versa Button hole and drilled out new holes exactly 2" down. I still think they are a good stick and am buying another set so I can carry six with me. These steps are great. Very solid construction. You have to assemble one of the sticks. So while you are putting that one together, go through and tighten all the stand-off screws and step screws really tight on the other three sticks. Using an aider trick that goes around the right boot, then hooks on the button or top step, I can easily get four feet between sticks. Or, you can use a single aider on just the bottom step and still get high enough up the tree. I stacked the sticks on top of each other, and they are right at six feet tall. So even 18" between sticks, with an 18" aider on bottom will get you 15' in the air.

Very nice stand platform. The platform arrived quickly and was packed very well. Wrapped in plastic, came complete wirh all instructions and pieces needed. There was only one small part that needed to be assembled before use. The standing platform is made of nice sturdy aluminum. Looks to be powder coated for a durable finish. Mine was in like a flat gray. Not too heavy to cary to my stand location. The best part about this stand platform that I really liked was that the ratchet strap was actually mounted right to the platform itself. This will help to not easily loose it, and also to keep things quiet while transporting it to and fron your stand location. I would definitely recommend to anyone hunting from a harness type stand.

Ok for the price. They tend to kick out on the bottom because the strap is too high. They really shout add a button for the strap in the middle of the step

Absolutely terrible climbing sticks. Not safe what so ever. The bottom ends continuously kick out. These will get some one hurt. DO NOT PURCHASE.
