  • A solid 5/5 dog puzzle.
Color: Treat Granary(Blue) Size: Level 2 (Intermediate)
I bought this puzzle toy for my mini Australian Shepherd, Luna, who is too darn smart for her own good and usually manages to figure out and totally empty puzzles in 5 minutes or less. This puzzle, though? Each time she uses it, it keeps her engaged for at least 20, if not 30+ minutes. Not to mention, I have the only dog in the world that is totally "meh" about her usual mealtime.. Most times, food in her bowl will sit for hours before she's finally hungry enough to bother with it. But not with this thing. Something about the toy makes her an enthusiastic eater from the second I set it down on the floor, eagerly sniffing out her everyday, normal kibble like it's some sort of special treat. Functionality-wise, it's a very sturdy toy as far as dog puzzles go. Obviously you'll want to watch them while they are using it, especially if you have a serial chewer. But the toy is heavy enough that while it can be scooted around on the carpet, my dog has difficulty turning it upside down. (Which is Luna's usual shortcut method of quickly "solving" her puzzles.) I also appreciate that the adjustable holes on the hopper allow for accommodating different food sizes and difficulty levels. The design is challenging enough to keep really smart, engaged pups busy for a while, but not so difficult that it causes undue frustration once they understand how it works. Plus.. it's just so darn cute, watching her excitedly spin the hopper like her life depends on it and then check to see which compartment the kibbles fell into. Overall, a solid 5/5 dog puzzle. Definitely recommend, especially for puzzle flippers and world record puzzle solvers like my girl. ... show more

  • Worked well but after 6 months it’s ready for the garbage
Color: Treat Button(Green) Size: Level 2 (Intermediate)
I like this product and my dog loves it. Easy to load. My only complaint is it’s longevity. We’ve used it for 6 months and it’s ready for the garbage. It gets filthy easily (not the products fault) and when it’s been dropped (kids eager to help) flaps snap off and cannot be replaced. I’m not that upset because I believe this item was fairly priced, we got a good 6 months use out of it 1-2 times a day. I may consider purchasing again but I think my dog might be ready for something more challenging so I am going to look at what other options are out there first. ... show more

  • Great Brain Game for Your Dog
Color: Treat Button(Green) Size: Level 2 (Intermediate)
We like to give our dog her meals and treats in this type of toy. Supposedly, it takes some energy out of them, while also helping them develop their brains. Overall, the toy works as expected. It could be a little higher quality, but for the price, I believe it is fair. We have a 60lb dog and she works this pretty hard. She has put a little bend in one of the plastic parts, but I straightened back out with some pliers. Overall, the mechanics of it work well and it keeps her busy. I will say that given her size, she can move this thing around at will. It never ends up where we started. So, for her size the suction on the bottom doesn't work at all. Smaller dogs probably would be fine though. ... show more

  • Disappointing
Color: Treat Rotation(Blue) Size: Level 3 (Advanced)
These is a REVISED review. Initially, I gave this five stars - as it made our dog work for her food. But, within a couple of weeks the yellow knob that screws on to the top - holding the device together became looser and looser to the point where it wouldn't stay on at all. That meant that my dog could just flip off the clear cover and get right to the food. Too bad - because up until that issue we really liked it. ... show more

  • Boxer loves it
Color: Treat Button(Blue) Size: Level 2 (Intermediate)
It took my dog a little to understand how to flip up the tabs but now he has it, it does move around a lot and does not stay in place. My do better with a dog with a longer face. With his short nose he has to really push it around to get in there.

  • Pittie Approved
Color: Treat Button(Blue) Size: Level 2 (Intermediate)
Our 50#, 2yr old pittie loves this. Took him about 5min to figure out how to get the food but once he did, it was on. Now he tippie taps the second we grab it. Half cup of food=10min of banging it around.
