These are good quality reeds for practicing on the alto saxophone. I really appreciate the consistency of the reeds and that 10 come in the pack. That way, it's less worrisome if you crack a reed, but seeing all 10 together, you can see the consistency in the cut, so every reed is identical, so you have confidence that an immediate switch to a new reed will be an identical playing experience. The case for the reeds has a nice plastic storage slot for each reed that keeps it secure and doesn't damage the reed as you slide it back into the case. And they included a velvet pouch to put the case in, which is a nice touch. And what can I say about the value?! This is a tremendous value for so many reeds. My son and I will be set for a while. When I was first learning the alto, reeds were this expensive for just a couple, and now you can get 10 reeds for the same price sent right to your home. Now these may not be the nicest reeds for an advanced player, but for students learning the saxophone or anyone playing occasionally, these are a fantastic value.

I decided, after a 30 year hiatus, to start playing the saxophone again. I took out my old alto and immediately regretted how long I had waited to start playing again. Only problem, the reed was also about 30 years old! I used to just hop on down to the local music store and buy a couple reeds at a time. Now the music store is gone and I had no idea where to get reeds. Obviously, Amazon came through. I ordered the 2.5 as I remembered I liked this strength for marching band in high school. It really wasn't necessary to buy the 2.5, I don't need to project into the stands these days, the 2.0 is perfect for every day use. These reeds are made out of wood, which surprised me that they still use wood for reeds. I remember in the past I would get new reeds and one or two might be splintered or cracked, all ten of these reeds are perfect. I love the case which protects them from splintering and make for easy storage. These are great quality, universally fit alto saxophones and are very comfortable to use. Highly recommended.

They fit the mouthpiece well and appear to be just about the right strength for their ratings. My 12-year-old son used these and said he cannot tell the difference between some of the other brands he had vs. these. They fit the mouthpiece well, had good resonance, and said that he had a great experience with them!

These saxophone reeds are great! Strong, well made, great carrying case, and fantastic price! Got a kiddo in band and this is going to be a fantastic starter kit for the year! I'd definitely recommend these for beginners.

I was a bit skeptical when I ordered these reeds because of the price, but I’m actually quite pleased with them. The sound and quality are exactly what I’d expect from a 2.5 strength reed. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely reliable and consistent. The reeds came in a standard reed case, which is nice and practical. They also included a velvety bag, which looks nice but I honestly don’t have much use for it. Still, it’s a nice touch. All the reeds arrived in good condition with no chips or cracks, which is always a bonus. Overall, I think these reeds are well made, and for the price, you really can’t beat it.

We love these reeds. They work great, my son uses them with his alto saxophone and no complaints. Often times when we buy packs of reeds as least one is chipped or broken and we didn't have that problem with these. They are also just in a case, and not wrapped in a ton of plastic which we love both for ease of use and for the environment. Great product.

I wasn't familiar with this brand, but these seem like fine practice reeds. I've been wanting to pick up my alto again after years on tenor, so I grabbed this set. The strength seems accurate, and they fit my mouthpiece just like any others I've had. I would prefer to have a mixed strength set, but for my purposes going through them to get back in shape, this set is a great price
