This alternator was a direct replacement for the factory unit, tested at 13.8volts and 88 amps. Just like the OEM. I’ve always been skeptical of reman automotive electronics but this one worked perfectly until the day we sold the car.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: When my alternator went out the ones at auto zone was over 300 $ so I looked on here and went with this one . I’ve now had it in my 2008 Hyundai Alantra for a couple weeks and it’s worked perfectly .will update if anything happens but seems to be good quality product for the price .

It's not easy working in the tight Elantra engine compartment but it can be done. This unit was a perfect fit. Apparently when the old alternator kicked-the-bucket it sent out a voltage spike that fried the Alternator fuse under the hood and took out the two radio (audio) fuses in the dash. Everything's good now.

I search for alternators nearby with the auto parts sell them. It was almost one and a half higher price than the one I paid in Amazon and it’s working fine. It was perfect. A perfect match feels good. Good quality so I’m happy with the product.

Don’t buy this alternator. We bought it in September 2023 and it lasted all of 6 months. It is killing every battery we put in the car. You won’t be able to return it because Amazon can’t even find a phone number for the actual seller. They are issuing a refund to us as an exception but the seller is crap and unreachable from here in the US.
