My 2010 Honda Odyssey started to have issues slowly losing power after driving around town and of course needing multiple jumps to start. I thought it was just a dying battery (7 year old Honda dealership battery) but after replacing it, the new battery was still not getting the juice it needed either. I decided to handle the job on my own since anyone could do the job and save $$$ if you have the willpower, and some basic tools. It was tough but I followed a YouTube video and was able to replace it on my own. The alternator looks like a 1:1 match with the exception of a bracket and the bolt-securing metal piece needing a couple of light taps in order to fit just like the original alternator (see picture with the hammer to know which party I’m talking about). Tap it in a few times so it sticks out about the same or less than the original alternator’s. Putting the belt back on was easier because I could access the belt tensioner from the top of the engine, so that was good. Otherwise, the biggest PITA was maneuvering the alternator out and into place. The YT videos show methods on getting them out, including taking out the windshield wiper reservoir, but I managed the job without taking it out. Have patience and go with the method you feel most comfortable with IMO. Anyway, this replacement has had no issues so far after driving hundreds of miles since I completed the job more than a month ago - we’ll see how holds up the rest of the year. I’ll update this review if it fails or if it is still going strong.

Exact fit on a 2011 Honda Pilot. A third of the price of the box stores so technically I could buy 3 of these and still be in the green. :) The VVT solenoid failed on my Pilot causing the oil leak to fry the alternator. Next time I'll pay more attention when my wife says she smells oil burning from the car. Oops.

I bought an alternator for my 2009 Acura in Jan. 2024. Approximately one month and one week after the one year mark the alternator is testing as bad. I have had the alternator tested by two different auto shops and they both said it is uncommon for an alternator to go bad around the one year mark. I have been trying to send a message to the seller but have not been successful.

Direct replacement for 2008 honda odyssey ex-l alternator. Great price, 130 amp alternator, really well built, the connector on the back clicked in perfectly. Very precise fit in my experience, so if you have a hard time getting it into the bottom bracket, clean off the bracket and use some Dielectric grease, the alternator slid right in

Alternator was prefect my car battery was dead and when I put that alternator in and hook the battery back up my Acura started one crank it was easy to install the quality of the alternator is very good and strong my battery stay charge

I installed it 4.5 months ago and it’s been working great so far. I had to hammer the spacer in a little for the alternator to slide in to the bracket. So if you have trouble getting it to fit try that and it will slide in.
