After install it made a clicking noise as in something was left inside hitting the fines. I sprayed it with Cecil lubricant and it got better.

    • Fixed overcharging/pulsing headlights
Fixed my pulsing headlights and overcharging issue. Was overcharging up to 16.2v before, now anywhere between 12.9-14.1 with all accessories on. Radio would cut out when defrosters were on or when using bright headlights previously. Working great so far. Will update if it craps out

Installed this new alternator and it didn't work right from the very beginning but I was able to mess with it and get it to work right for a couple months. Then it started dying on me going down the interstate and at night I can either have headlights or ac. I really hate I spent this much money on it just to have to go buy another alternator a couple months later and it wasn't an easy install. ... show more
