Great quality sound, much more powerful than expected (coming from someone with a 10k home theater stereo) definitely recommend. It's still a portable Bluetooth speaker so don't expect perfect sound. Had an issue with it and it was resolved immediately by the seller

Went to charge it for the first time and it will not charge! It fell in the water (it’s waterproof) (grabbed it right out when it fell) so I was not freaking out and I would figure it wouldn’t have anything to do with the charging. But I’m not sure. No problems. I was worried about battery life a little but the few horror stories proved to not be a concern. Great when sitting on the ground since it pretty much cannot fall over. Standing up on end in the corner of a room works like a champ as well. Syncing to multiple speakers of different makes has worked after a little testing for stereo effect in a large space. The media could not be loaded. DANG, this is like my old school boombox on steroids. I got it for a houseparty we were throwing for my daughter's 21st birthday. I seriously felt like I was back in college. The sound on this thing is BEYOND!! The front facing woofers give you that heart thumping, rumbling sound and great quality bass. The sound is crisp and super clear with no distortion. Along with rocking sound quality, it's got 4 different LED lighting modes. You can set it to a slow fade, multi-color slow fade, solid blue or it'll beat to music. I wish I would've gotten a video at the party, but we were having too much fun and I forgot. It charges very quickly and you can get around 20 hours of playtime. That's insane!! You can charge it with the normal wall charger that it comes with or use the USB charging port to connect to a USB power source, like a power bank, laptop or wall outlet. You can also charge your phone with it while using the speaker. It'll connect to any bluetooth enabled device and has a 100 foot range. It's easy to pair and after the first time it will automatically connect to your device when you turn the speaker on. It's crazy, but you can connect up to 50 House Party enabled speakers at the same time. WHAT?!?! That'd be like your own concert. The functionality and options are amazing. It's even waterproof, so I can use it in my pool. That's going to be amazeballs this summer!! Love this speaker! We use it the pool and it’s great. My only issue is I had ordered the blue one and received the black.I didn’t want the hassle of returning it, so kept it. It is 20$’s cheaper and requested a refund for the difference, which I did not get. I guess the 20 bucks was the difference between making them or breaking them. Over a month later. The media could not be loaded. TLDR: after 4 years, It's worth $200. Longer story: I listen to normal music and offer it up to dispensaries I work at as a lobby speaker. Along with that, I've used bass boosting equalizers while listening to speaker intensive songs and have accidentally taken the altec to volume levels of rattling inside of its casing (for 4 years now) and there's still PERFECT clarity in the highs and no signs of subwoofer damage. My phone speaker has DEFINITELY seen some water damage so the audio sounds terrible in the video I attached, but you can hear it get plenty loud enough and not have any rattling. You really gotta push it to rattle the walls levels before that happens. But yeah, I've dropped it.. A lot. A few times into some hot springs. We've had some wild nights with the boys together. It was occasionally thrown for fun. Etc. It's the real deal, and has given me way more then $200 in value. This is the last review you need to read. Buy it. Be happy. Cheers ... show more
