These are slick and stylish looking headphones, my daughter likes them. I bought the blue and white color. The headphones are a good size for her 11 year old head with comfortable ear cups. There are separate power buttons for general listening and the active noise cancellation. Most of the time the ANC isn’t needed so having that off helps with battery life. She uses them a lot so I appreciate the long battery life. They will last her for a day of use at least and I plug them in to charge overnight. I like that the maximum volume is limited so I don’t have to worry about her listening too loud. The sound quality is good. I’ve always been happy with the sound quality of audio equipment from this brand. I trust them to make good stuff.

Overall Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars) Audio Quality and Feedback Issue: Unpleasant and Intrusive: My primary concern with the Altec Lansing Kid Safe Headphones is the significant feedback issue. When I tried them on, any time I would lean or make contact with the sides of the headphones, there was a very loud and jarring feedback noise. This is particularly concerning considering they are designed for children. I can only imagine how uncomfortable and annoying this could be for a young child's ears, especially during extended use like on our 3-hour road trip. I know it's supposed to be kid-safe decibel on the volume, but I doubt there's any testing on the decibel rating of that feedback, ugh it was a loud, sharp sound. Durability and Design: Questionable Build Quality: While the headphones have a foldable design which is convenient for travel, the overall build quality feels lacking. The feedback issue raises concerns about the internal wiring or noise cancellation technology used in these headphones. Kid-Friendly Features: Volume Limitation Not Enough: The 85dB volume limit, a safety feature for children, is overshadowed by the feedback problem. While it's important to protect young ears from loud sounds, the discomfort caused by the feedback noise negates this safety feature. Child's Experience: Lack of Complaints Not a Good Sign: My toddler didn't complain while using them, but I attribute this more to his focus on watching a show rather than the comfort or enjoyment of the headphones. Children, especially when engaged in something they enjoy, might not vocalize discomfort, which doesn't necessarily mean the headphones are suitable or comfortable for them. Conclusion: Not Recommended for Sensitive Ears: Given my experience with the feedback issue and the potential risk it poses to a child's hearing, I cannot recommend the Altec Lansing Kid Safe Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones. There are other kid-friendly headphones on the market that might offer a safer and more comfortable listening experience.

I attempted to order this item twice and was twice shipped the "Hero Blue" version (B0CB6TCHSW) and not the "Knight Blue" version (B0D1DRTKQ2). You can see from other reviews that the photos do not match the product photo on this page, at least at time of writing. The headphones themselves are fine. I like the 2-in-1 function and they seem reasonably comfortable. Just be advised that there are two different blue variants and the one with the black and blue on the ear cups (Knight Blue) doesn't seem to be orderable, you will get the dark blue/light blue (Hero Blue) no matter which of the products you order. If this is important to you, I'd look elsewhere.

My daughter LOVES these headphones! The sound quality is terrific and we really like the option of connecting using a wire. The first pair we ordered had really bad static, but returned them without a problem and the replacement pair works great.

Needed kids headphones that had active noise cancellation as well as wired and wireless options. This fit the bill, and the price was great. I feel it is a little softer volume than I would have liked, especially if on the plane, but the decibel volume protection does make sense, just wish there was a way to turn it off. Sound quality is quite good. Plenty of color choices, which my kiddo liked.

These headphones worked wonderfully for my daughter’s trip. She wore them on the airplane and at the hotel without an issues. Charged them overnight to have them ready for the next use. They hold up nicely, drown out outside noises and have volume safety controls. Parent and kid approved. Update: If the pacing comes out, gently pull off the cover over the speaker. You can easily reattach the pad over that then reattach it to the speaker!! Thank you to the reviewer who mentioned this trick 🤗

We were excited to get these at first, but after a month the plastic broke very easily where the headphones slide to get bigger/thin part of plastic and cord hung out, couldn’t fix or use any longer, was not happy, my other child had a pair and same thing happened, not worth it since now we can’t use them
