Love the shoes but wish they were cheaper. No reason to have to spend $160+ on a pair of riding shoes. I'm still looking for high quality riding shoes at a cheaper price. I'll find them eventually. I bought these as a gift for my son to wear while riding the motorcycle. He needed a shoe that did not wear out when shifting gears. These shoes are a great fit and are durable. They help when riding at night so your feet dont get cold. They have an area on the top that wont wear out when shifting gears. Perfect support on your ankles.

I recently bough a Suzuki M109r cruiser. With that I bought some boots (hiking type). The problem is when upshifting the front of my boot would get stuck due to the thick sole of the shoe. So doing research I found the Alpinestar brand and bought a pair. I would highly recommend trying them on from a local bike dealer as the size are wonky. Imma size 9 but had to buy a size 10 shoe. The "but" part of my story is, although I like the shoe, it tends to be targeted for the racer bike types then the cruiser type of customer. The sole feels a but sliced on the outside which could make you step funny (bend your ankle outward) at times. Being a cruiser gumby, we walk in dirt, rocks and gravel more then the racing guys. Bottom line, Imma look for something with more sole width in the shoe. Otherwise the shoe is great as designed.

Love these shoes! They are sturdy, easy to take off, and look good too. I usually measure up to a 9.5, so bought a 9.5, and these are manageable at that size, but after a while my feet to begin to get quite cramped. I will certainly be buying another pair of these, they'll just be 1/2 a size up. I'm writing this before buying the 10's, so I'm uncertain if the 10's will be too big and the 9.5's have to be broken in, but after 3-4 hrs driving, they're no better then before. Having said this, they are very sturdy so this could be usually; although, my other pairs do not create this discomfort after such a short period. Will update after the new pair and further driving.

These riding shoes are very comfortable. I wear a size 10.5 and have a fairly wide foot. I got the 10.5 and they fit great. I can feel they are a little skinny for a wide foot, but nothing hurts and will break in even better over time. If I went with an 11 I feel they would be to long. At first they seemed hot when not riding (I'm used to vans canvas) but after I got used to them they are only medium warm when not moving. When riding the air flows amazing! The mornings are in the 60s where I am at. I can feel the air on my feet, but they don't get cold. Walking in them is no problem. They are on the skinny side for the sole, but that's not an issue. Wearing them at work seems fine. Not sure how they will be in the summer, but since the days are in the 70s here they feel fine. The ankle cup is right were it should be. I tried a different brand and the cup was under my ankle. These are great shoes. Super happy with the purchase.

I’ve been riding for a while now; I couldn’t afford riding shoes right away, so I held off and used my padded horse riding shoes for a few months. Finally pulled the trigger on these and omg - WHAT?! The experience of riding has literally changed, the raised pads for pedal / shifter is crazy precise. My shifts are so much better now! Much less effort while riding - and these shoes are sooooo hot 😍
