Def enjoying my purchase! You will have to break them in but it doesn’t take long. Still able to shift gears with no issue just took a little getting use to after riding in sneakers for a while. A lot of protection and they look great with the rest of my gear. They have a zipper along the ankle to mid calf area then cover with a Velcro flap to hide the zipper.
