I came from the Alpinestars Sektor model — those were uncomfortable for the first week until I broke them in. But these are comfortable right out of the box. They look great and they offer more protection for street riding than the Sektors do.

The boots are very comfortable to wear just walking as well as on the bike. Quality is typical Alpinestars. Quit good. BUT...I had the laces. They are a PITA and make putting the boots on a hassle. In addition, There is no tab at the back that can be used to pull the boot on. These would be 5-star rated if not for those issues. If I could do it over I would buy something else. ... show more

Expensive for what they are ($200!). Nice, but very thin insole and a narrow toe box shoe. If you have a wide foot, look at another shoe. No loop or tab in the back to aid in pulling them on, which would have been a nice touch. Zip in addition to laces to adjust would have been even better. I’m honestly going to look for another pair to wear as after an hour of standing n these, my feet start to go numb. Adding better insoles helps, but the they are even tighter. I’d recommend going up a 1/2 size from what you normally wear in a boot. ... show more
