As a first-time dad, I’m learning quickly that babies can get overwhelmed by loud environments — and let’s be honest, so can we as parents. I bought the Alpine Muffy Baby earmuffs before a 4th of July celebration, and I genuinely wish I’d picked these up sooner. Our little guy wore them through the entire fireworks show, and he didn’t flinch once. That’s saying something for a baby who usually startles at the blender. The soft, stretchy headband didn’t leave any marks and didn’t press on his head — which made me feel better knowing it’s safe for his still-developing fontanel. Setup? Easy. They’re light, super adjustable, and feel really well made. No BPA, no weird smells out of the box, and they fold up neatly into the included pouch — a big win for dads who hate extra clutter in the diaper bag. These ear muffs are fantastic! My older kid is in wrestling and those all day tournaments can be VERY loud. We got these for my littlest one and we were able to have nap time during those long days. I highly recommend! They don’t seem to bother her and they are lightweight but work well

These baby ear protectors are such a great purchase and extremely well made. The materials are soft and high quality, and the stretchy headband is gentle and comfortable for my child to wear without feeling tight or restrictive. I really love that there’s no pressure on the fontanel, which was very important to me when choosing hearing protection. We purchased these specifically for Disney, and they came in so handy. Between rides, shows, crowds, and fireworks, the noise can get overwhelming, and these gave me so much peace of mind knowing my child’s ears were protected. They stayed in place well, didn’t slip around, and most importantly my child didn’t mind wearing them at all. The noise reduction is noticeable without being too much, and the overall fit feels very thoughtfully designed. They’re lightweight, adjustable, durable, and clearly made with babies’ comfort and safety in mind. This is one of those items I’m really glad we had for a busy trip, and I would absolutely recommend them to other parents planning Disney or any loud outings.

Very finicky. They work OK once you figure out a meathod to put them on to your baby, but it's going to require a period of trial and error for your specific baby, and might not even work depending on their temperament. What worked out for my more cooperative toddler was to put the band on first, let it settle, try and slip one of the ear cups in, let that settle, then pop the (separate) latch onto the ear piece to secure it to the headband (which required pressing it into the baby's head, which they found very uncomfortable. Repeat for the other side. This process took me 2½ hours. Even then it was also difficult because the band comes with a soft side and a "sticky" side that has rubber grips. If you put the soft side in, the band will slide down your baby's face and cover their eyes. If you put the grippy side in it will tug at baby's hair. There's really no winning with this. In contrast the BANZ works on both my toddlers and just pops on like a normal set of ear protection, and if they're not feeling like wearing then it takes them just as little time to take them off. Just save yourself the hassle and get the normal looking one.

I bought this so my son wouldn't be disturbed while watching Monster Truck. There was something non-slip at the head, so it didn't fall or slip out of his head. Despite all the noise, he was very comfortable and even fell asleep ☺️
