These chairs are easy to assemble, nice looking and comfortable, but the quality is poor. There is a number of small and bigger scratches and cracks. I used a matching color furniture marker to mask these defects. Tried to reach out the seller for parts replacement, but there is no option to contact the seller. You can only return it. I love these stools they are so much better it quality than I expected. The legs are sturdy (and a little rough but that is my only complaint, I know how to use a sander.) they are remarkably easy to put together. But it is the actual seat that impresses me the most, it is not only wider that similar stools I have seen but it is padded just right to be firm but not hard.
