The cap was hard to get off and when it did come off the cap chipped off the tip of the liner. Luckily I had a small sharpener. The liner goes on smoothly. I’m 73 and I think this is nice. I chose the dark chestnut instead of black and I’m very happy with this color. It’s almost black but softer.

My favorite brand of eye liner no longer makes my color and applicator that I loved. I chose to try this. It is nice and works. Color is what I expected but the application tip just didn't do what I was hoping for. I will use this as my back up, but I'm still looking for a permanent replacement.

I would have given the eyeliner a 5 star rating because it is smudgeproof and long lasting. However, due to the fact it is not a mechanical pencil and is difficult to sharpen, I gave it a 4. My solution has been to put the eyeliner in the freezer for 15 minutes or more and sharpen. I use a traditional desk top sharpener. It works. ... show more
