Ideal for acne-prone skin types, oily skin, and combination skin, the creamy multitasking foundation with medium, buildable coverage cares for all-over acne breakouts, hides imperfections, and leaves skin with a flawless, soft-matte finish that lasts all day no caking up. The difference is that now, the non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores!) liquid acne foundation is powered by a skin-balancing formula of 1% salicylic acid, prebiotics, and aloe vera for skin that looks clarified, healthier, and calm. The amount of salicylic acid the magic acne-fighting ingredient was reduced to treat and help prevent future breakouts without drying out skin. Added prebiotics nourish a healthy skin barrier for a well- balanced complexion. Aloe vera was also introduced into the mix for its hydrating properties, which help soothe and calm signs of irritation. I've seen this make up around for a long time, but I finally decided to give it a try never have. I found a liquid make up that dries where you can just put some on with a little bit of lotion and out the door so I put my moisturizer on let my face dry and then I apply this just a little bit One little pump on a finger tip for your whole face is all that's needed. It's very concentrated very good coverage and it feels luxurious on your skin. It does not feel dryer Kiki and out the door. I love this I stopped wearing liquid foundations years ago because of how they felt on your skin and felt like you were wearing a mask and you always had these little tickles and itches and Bothers on your face that you just drove you crazy wearing liquid foundation, but this is not that way this is very luxurious feeling like a lotion like I did a really nice moisturizer I just put a little bit of this on and out the door is all that is needed. As you can see I'm light skin. I normally go for golden color but it was too dark and had to return and re-order this one. It's lightweight so it's good for work but it doesn't have much coverage for blemishes. It doesn't have a pleasant smell. It smells like chemicals. However, I still like it because it controls the oil and doesn't break me out. For work is great. I have a full coverage mate foundation to go out but I won't use it for work since it feels heavy on the skin. I'd say go for it. ... show more

I’ve been using the elf acne fighting foundation for years and it’s one of the only foundations that doesn’t break me out and sits nicely on me skin. Since I’ve realized it’s being discontinued I’ve finally found this as the best dupe. The apply very similarly and stay one well. The shade natural is very dark though. I have bought this foundation, Almay Clear Complexion, in color 400, "Neutral", for YEARS. Just received my new bottle, and the color has totally CHANGED! It's MUCH darker than it used to be. I wish I hadn't thrown out my previous bottle, but it's at least two shades darker than it formerly was. And upon Googling, I am seeing that I am NOT the only person who has seen this problem. If I had bought it in person at the drugstore, I would have noticed it right away, but unfortunately I ordered it from Amazon thinking, "I've bought it for years". I will have to send it back. It's a shame, because the texture and coverage were perfect, and these days the drugstores & supermarkets don't have a very good selection - many empty spaces in the racks for makeup colors. ... show more
