The battery is extremely off. I finally had a chance to use it with a temporary power outage. I had it already charged with the provided solar panel. The only thing connected to it was a fan that only used 36-38 watts and the battery died after reaching 75%. Now the battery icon keeps blinking (nothing in manual) and won't charge. The only reason I think it's not dead is it still displays the settings when the AC button is pressed, so there's some power. Got this to use with my camper. It won’t last but a few hours with the camper plugged into the 30 amp plug like maybe about three or four. The 30 amp plug is positioned in such a way that you cannot use it and use the plug for the solar panel at the same time The solar panel cord blocks the 30 amp plug being able to be plugged in from a standard camper cable. Maybe there’s an adapter out there I can get but I don’t think I’ll use it with my camper much anyway. You really have to have a lot of solar panels to keep this charged up via solar. 200 W panel and it doesn’t keep up with the demand. Also I cannot get it to register any input even though the solar panel is it directly in the sunlight sometimes I have to unplug it and plug it and unplug it several times. Consequently I’ll probably just leave this at home and use it has some kind of back up power if my house power goes out and then I can leave it plugged in so it’s always charged. Good idea but the solar generators have a ways to go to be comparable to a gas for use with a camper. ... show more

Not at all what I expected. If the least little rain gets in it it will blow up and your out a thousand dollars because the warranty will not cover liquid but the cables are not long enough to keep the generator inside and the solar panel outside would not recommend this purchase

I’m going to start with the bad. The inverter portion falls laughably short of the 4000 serge and 2500 running wats overload fault trips around 2000 wats. The 30 amp power plug orientation interferes with the solar charging port making using both at the same time an impossibly with out an adapter. The good. Battery charges extremely fast when plugged in, display is very useful. The best I’ve gotten out of the 200 wattsolar panels is 175 watts The average is considerably less but that’s also under conditions that are not optimal. ... show more
