I installed this radiator into a 1986 D150 2wd with a 360/5.9 gas engine. Things to watch out for: The fittings that come with the radiator are 11/32" hose barbs. The stock lines are 5/16", not perfect, but it works. These fittings are also not installed tight upon arrival. Pull them out and put some teflon sealant on them and tighten them down. I also did not like the design of the drain valve so I replaced it with a Gates drain valve from Napa. I also installed a new radiator cap, mostly because I had a new factory style cap already and wasn't a huge fan of the billet cap it came with. The factory fan shroud bolts up, but you will need to use different hardware as the original screws won't have anything to grab. 1/4-20x1-1/4" bolts and nuts worked with some washers and lock washers. You will have a 1/2-3/4" gap at the top and bottom of the shroud. This is less than ideal so you may want to source some weatherstrip or foam and seal this off. In my case, the radiator cools so well that this loss of efficiency didn't seem to matter. And the largest issue is that the shroud moves inward and nearly encapsulates the engine fan fully. This is not good for airflow. You want the fan half in and half out of the shroud. In my case I had to go to a shorter fan clutch. I used Hayden 2947. This seemed to be just right for fan spacing. The good is that it was well packaged and arrived undamaged. It also seems to cool exceptionally well and the price is quite reasonable compared to other options. I have tested it for a few days and have found no leaks. I would buy it again, but they could improve the shroud mounting or at least provide some inserts or nut plates to grab the mounting screws.

Swapped the OG rad out of my 87 RamCharger. Direct bolt in, only issue was original fan shroud bolts didn’t work, too short. Easy fix by running to the hardware store. Keeps truck cold. Been in for 2 months now and has given me no issues at all. Live in super hot/humid GA for reference

Installed fairly easy on my Dodge 84 W350...had to slot one of the holes to get it to fit in the factory mounting positions. Seems to keep the truck cool and at stable temps.... Update: After a couple of weeks driving on the highway, the radiator won't hold the temperature below 215F. Going to try a different radiator as I am not comfortable with those high temps.

Awesome, it fit as expected, we'll packaged and arrived in perfect, un damaged shape. Once installed, it looks good. I have zero road testing as of yet, but all was in order, will revisit this once my alternator is in and I can get my truck back where it oughtta be... on the road. The cap gives a nice custom look, and the mounting brackets are solid. The factory radiator was mostly plastic, and aesthetically, this is a definite upgrade.
