I have been a tent camper for the past 25+ years, having spent over 100 nights inside nylon walls. I have owned cheap tents and expensive ones, 7 different ones. This Roof Top tent from All-Top is extremely well made. The zippers are heavy duty and large. The stitching is near perfect and the seams are sealed. Materials seem strong and of very good quality. I love the design, as windows can be open in a rain, because the fly covers so well. I also love that the doors and widows are 360 degrees, giving great ventilation and views. The sturdy test came immediately, as my 6'4", 260lb body climbed up the ladder and placed all my weight on the tent base. It is rock solid. Installation is a chore, made a little more complex, because I also purchased the All-Top Awning (which is awesome), integrating it into the tent mounts. I did have to purchase four additional bolts that were longer, because the FJ Cruiser's roof rack is extra large in diameter. You really need two people for installation. I did 90% of it by myself, with only a little help from the wife. The inside of the tent is well organized with storage pockets. The mattress is really good and my large, heavy body was comfortable on it. I am a tall guy, but I had plenty of length. The LED lighting strip is a really nice bonus and I might purchase a second one to have on the awning. I can't say enough great things about this company. There was some issues with the freight company and All-Top was very responsive and very helpful. So far my only complaint is the packaging material. It seems since the pandemic, shipping and freight companies have no excellence in their work. Most packages I receive are just torn up and heavily damaged. Knowing this, All-Top would be wise to pack the tent in the box with a little more protection.

Tent is made from quality materials. Assembly and installation was fairly easy, I had a buddy help me put it together in less than an hour. Once assembled you can really take in the actual size of the tent, you can easily fit 2 large adults with ease. The mattress looks and feels incredibly thick and comfortable. The inside of the tent receives enough ventilation when the sides are open. My only suggestion would be to purchase upgraded hardware as the nuts and bolts provided are not the best quality. Taking into consideration that you will most likely be taking this tent through some tough terrain, you want to make sure it is safely secured to your rig. But most importantly, it looks awesome assembled and when it’s stored.

The media could not be loaded. Was skeptical purchasing this with lack of reviews, but couldn’t be happier thus far. Figured I’d review since there are no others. This is my first rooftop tent, but a lot of my buddies have them. First off, the tent is large & can fit 2 adults & a dog comfortably or 2 adults & 1 child. Material is thick & it seems to be well made. Comes with all hardware (none missing), rails, cover bag, accessories, tarp top, rain flys & some LED light thing. Mattress pad seems to be 2-3” thick. Might get a Walmart pad in addition & just throw it in there. It claims it was 150 lb but says 51 kg (112 lb) on the box. 112 seems right. Will take 2 adults to put together & lift. I have not taken it out but plan to in 2 weeks. I will come back & review how it works out in Utah / CO which will likely be some cold nights. As of now, for $780, this is the best rooftop tent on the market for beginners

I got this tent about a month ago, and it's pretty good. Materials used seem to be of good quality, and they include alot of cool extras like a shoe bag and a light strip. The bottom of the tent is made of metal, so its sturdy. For the price I paid, I'm happy with the tent overall. I also bought their air pump and Awning, and both work very well!
