We upgraded from an earlier generation after many years of use. This is the same excellent quality tablet just with a bigger screen with better resolution. I have my own laptop, but the kiddo is in love with her new device. The Amazon Kids subscription that's included has some great games she's been enjoying, and it's been very easy to set up all the content and parental controls. The case is extremely durable and having the 2 year warranty is a great peace of mind. Being able to switch to a parent profile to use in a pinch is also a plus. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought this for my son, who is turning 4 this fall. Its very easy to use and set up. Pairs well with other bluetooth devices. I would say my only disappointment is the battery doesn't last long. However I am not upset as I feel the price is fair for what I paid.

I got this tablet for my 3-year-old daughter, and it has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for her. The 10.1” HD screen is bright and clear, and she absolutely loves watching her shows and playing educational games on it.
