  • 🎨🖌️ Superb Quality & Incredible Price! Complete Dropper Bottle Set with Thinner & Cleaner
🎨 Finding a comprehensive paint set that successfully adheres to the slick, non-porous surfaces of 3D-printed filaments and cured resin prints can be a gamble. My wife juggles a ton of different creative hobbies and uses this kit for everything from tiny, intricate details to massive, large-scale prints. The VVF 17-Color Acrylic Miniature Paint Set delivers superb, professional-grade results at a fraction of the cost of legacy hobby brands. ◼ THE GOOD: AIRBRUSH COMPATIBLE, LOW ODOR, & PREMIUM GRIP 🖌️ The value packed into this neatly arranged layout is outstanding, making it a dream setup for 3D printing enthusiasts and makers: ‣ Flawless Grip on 3D & Resin Prints: The biggest highlight is how perfectly these acrylics bond to 3D-printed plastics and smooth resin. The pigments lay down evenly without pooling in the layer lines or peeling off, ensuring a smooth, highly durable finish. ‣ Perfect for Professional Airbrushes: She regularly runs this paint through her professional airbrush spray kit, and it performs beautifully. It thins down smoothly without clogging the fine nozzle, giving an incredibly even atomization and a flawless coat on larger surface areas. ‣ Zero Harsh or Toxic Smells: Unlike many specialized model paints that come with a strong, overwhelming chemical odor, these acrylics have virtually no foul smell. It makes a massive difference when you are sitting at a hobby bench spraying or painting for hours at a time. ‣ The Ultimate Liquid Add-On Trio: Along with the 20ml dropper bottles, the kit includes vital fluid mediums that make custom work seamless. It comes with paint thinner to dial in the exact transparency or airbrush flow you want, as well as an incredibly helpful Acrylic Paint Cleaner to easily flush stubborn pigments out of the airbrush and fine brushes. ‣ Superb Packaging & Fast Delivery: The kit arrived incredibly fast and was packed flawlessly, with all the bottles sitting completely upright and secure so nothing leaked or shifted during shipping. ◼ MINOR GRIPES / THINGS TO NOTE 🚨📐 There is honestly nothing bad to say given the incredible price point, but keep this workflow tip in mind: ‣ Maximize Your Results with a Primer: While the adhesion on raw 3D prints is already highly impressive, applying a quick base layer of primer first will help these vibrant colors pop even more and give the paint an unbreakable bond. ◼ FINAL VERDICT 📋 Whether you are a seasoned tabletop creator or an active 3D printing maker, this kit is an absolute steal. The combination of vibrant colors, flawless airbrush performance, low-odor formula, and the included thinner and cleaner makes it a top-tier addition to any hobby bench. My wife absolutely loves it! Therefore I’d give it a 5 of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... show more

  • Model-grade paint with an undeniably impressive finish…..
Finding a comprehensive paint set that is truly formulated for scale models is critically important, especially when using an airbrush. This is dedicated hobby paint—not hardware-store spray paint repackaged for model use—and the results are undeniably impressive. The set arrives neatly organized with a highly useful assortment of standard colors, metallics and two bottles of acrylic thinner. The 20ml dropper bottles are generously sized, easy to control and fit perfectly into my existing paint rack. The color selection is broad enough for model cars, military vehicles, aircraft, miniatures, Gundam kits, scenery and countless other hobby applications. I use the professional Grex Tritium TG5 airbrush. With the included thinner, it's smooth, even and produces excellent coverage. The finish leveled out beautifully without appearing excessively thick or obscuring the fine molded details. The colors are vibrant, the metallic shades have a convincing appearance and the dried finish looks every bit like legitimate model-grade paint. I have used the major hobby brands for years, including Mr. Hobby, Tamiya and Vallejo. This VVF set performs far better than I expected at its price point and belongs in the conversation with those established names. At roughly $29 for the entire assortment, the value packed into this neatly arranged set is outstanding. Final thoughts… ✔️ A genuinely useful selection of model-building colors. ✔️ Includes metallic paints and two bottles of thinner. ✔️ Smooth, consistent performance through a quality airbrush. ✔️ Generous 20ml dropper bottles provide excellent control. ✔️ Suitable for scale vehicles, armor, aircraft, miniatures and scenery. ✔️ Remarkable quality and value for approximately $29. ⭐️1 star — I don't endorse this at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars — I don't endorse it: has multiple faults, or significantly overpriced. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars — It's passable: it has some faults, some compromises, but the quality is acceptable for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars — Product quite acceptable, and it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars — Product that I totally endorse. Blown away. Drop everything and buy it! ... show more

  • Nice Starter Set for Miniatures and Model Painting
The VVF Model Paint Set is a 17-color acrylic miniature paint set that comes in 20ml dropper bottles, along with two thinners for brush or airbrush use. It is designed for miniatures, models, wargaming figures, tabletop scenery, dioramas, and similar hobby projects, so it gives you a useful range of colors without having to buy everything one bottle at a time. I like that it includes both standard matte colors and metallics, because that makes it easier to handle figures, armor, weapons, vehicles, bases, and little detail pieces right out of the box. The dropper bottles are a big plus for this kind of paint. They make it easier to control how much paint you use, especially when mixing colors or thinning for an airbrush. The included thinner is also helpful because acrylic hobby paint often performs better when adjusted slightly for the task, whether that is smoother brush layers, base coating, or spraying. For beginners, having the thinner included takes out some of the guesswork and makes the set feel more complete. The color selection is practical for general hobby use. The matte finish is nice for miniatures because it helps details, washes, and highlights show up more naturally, while the metallic colors are useful for swords, armor, machinery, trim, and accent pieces. I would still expect to expand into specialty colors over time if you get deep into a specific army, model line, or painting style, but this set gives you enough to start experimenting with base coats, layering, highlights, shadows, and simple weathering. Overall, this is a solid value paint set for beginners, casual hobbyists, or anyone who wants a compact acrylic paint collection for miniatures and models. The 20ml bottles give you a good amount of paint, the included thinners add flexibility, and the brush and airbrush compatibility makes the set more versatile than a basic craft paint bundle. It is a convenient way to build out a small hobby paint station without overcomplicating things. ... show more

  • A safe, set-it-and-forget-it solution.
Tackling the moles and gophers in the backyard used to be a full-time battle every spring. No matter how much I manicured the grass, it would always end up looking like a war zone of holes and tunnels, which was just exhausting for the whole family. I really didn’t want to go the route of harsh chemicals or traps, especially with the pets and the kids constantly running around the yard, so I gave this solar repellent a shot. The coverage on this thing is impressive for a yard our size. Installation was basically just "stick it in the ground and forget it," which I love. It uses these subtle vibrations that seem to be exactly what the critters hate, because we saw the tunnel activity drop off significantly in just about a week. An unexpected bonus is the LED light—it’s not just there for function; it adds this really nice, soft ambient glow to the garden at night when we’re out on the patio. It’s been great to watch the cat try to chase the little light trails, though it doesn't bother the wildlife, just the pests. The solar power has been solid, too—even through a few gloomy, cloudy days, it’s kept running without a hitch. If I have one minor suggestion, it’d be to add a handle or a better grip on top. Since it’s a pretty beefy unit, pulling it out of the dirt to mow the lawn or reposition it can be a bit of a workout. But honestly, that’s a small price to pay for a lawn that doesn't look like a construction site. ... show more

  • A great paint set for family hobby time
My son and I have recently been spending our weekends making miniature models together, so wen decided to try out this acrylic model paint set. The set arrived in perfect condition; every bottle was securely sealed, with no leaks whatsoever. The dropper-style bottle design is excellent, allowing us to easily control the amount used and avoid waste. The range of colors is extensive, easily meeting the needs of our various projects. My son enjoys painting fantasy-style miniatures for tabletop games, while I typically work on military vehicles and small display models. Despite our differing styles, we were able to find suitable colors for everything. The paints blend easily on the palette, and the included thinner is very useful, as we wanted to experiment with both brush painting and airbrushing. The paint has a smooth consistency that covers plastic surfaces evenly without looking too thick. Some colors provide full coverage with just one coat, while lighter shades usually require an extra layer—which is typical for acrylic paints. We also tried mixing the paint with thinner for use in a small airbrush; the performance was consistent, and clogging was rarely an issue. Cleanup is simple, too—we just rinse the brushes with water before the paint dries. ... show more

  • Smooth paint for small details
This paint set has been fun to use during weekend hobby time at our kitchen table, especially when my daughter wants to work on small crafts while my husband paints a few model pieces. The color selection is useful right out of the box, with enough basic shades for figures, scenery, and little detail parts without needing to buy several separate bottles. I like the dropper bottles because they make it easier to put a small amount on a palette without wasting paint or making a mess. The paint brushes on smoothly when used in thin layers, and the matte finish looks nice on small models because it does not hide the details. The metallic colors are a nice addition for tiny armor, tools, wheels, or trim pieces. We also tried mixing in a little of the included thinner, and it helped adjust the texture when we wanted the paint to flow more easily. Cleanup was simple as long as we rinsed the brushes before the paint dried. This set feels organized, practical, and easy to keep with other hobby supplies. ... show more

  • Good deal on Premium paints
To be up front, I've been using miniature paints since completing a full paint set of the original partha paints back around 90 or 91. They had 24 colors back then. This is a pretty nice set, but follows the same rules as other acrylic mini paints, you absolutely must base coat your mini with primer first. I used entirely the new paint for a black wash, dry brushing mail, highlighting, and toning out everything cloth, flesh, and metal. And overall, I'll give the set itself a 7/10 the quality is there, could use a couple more base colors you don't have to mix down yourself and maybe an extra empty bottle or jar to store a personal mix so you can consistently match back a full squad over time. While I do rate the actual paint and collection duration as a 7/10, the price point definitely makes this a 5 star purchase as putting together your own from slightly better paint will cost you double this, and honestly this is entirely good enough for top notch work. ... show more

  • Good colors and an affordable set
Seems there are many third parties trying to get into the hobby paint industry. It's a competitive space but could always stand some more competition. This paint set is pretty nice. Although the listing says it contains seventeen colors, the box I received has eighteen for a decent price, plus a pair of thinner bottles. This set has all the key basics: - primary colors in red, blue, and yellow, plus a black and white - intermediate colors like purple, orange, green, gray - some useful extra colors (light blue, olive green, skin tone, buff, gold, and silver) - a variety of browns (ochre, burnt sienna, burnt umber) There's a good variety of colors. I used the buff color, actually not for miniatures, but for the tops of the windlasses on my Tamiya USS New Jersey build, as that's what the instructions called for. It looks fine at a distance, perhaps more yellow than beige up close, but it worked fine for what I was doing. I did have an issue with the bottles. They look like the fairly standard eye dropper-style bottles used by most hobby paints, but on my first use the bottle was a bit stubborn and didn't yield any paint. So of course I increased pressure on the squeeze, and the paint suddenly gushed out and nearly made a mess. Thankfully I was using a small dish and was able to catch all of it. I applied the paint with a regular brush and found them to behave reasonably well, and they should work competently enough for hobby work. I did not test them with an airbrush, and like most paints you'll have to thin them appropriately for that tool. I appreciate the sparse but useful documentation. It includes information on suggested usage, thinning ratios for airbrush, and a color chart for mixing. I also like that the colors are mostly named exactly what they are, not with fanciful made up names. It's always nice to have an affordable option for hobby paints. ... show more
