You'll pay a premium price for the set, but I don't regret it for one moment. First, the utensil holder is taller than most containers available. That makes it easy to store not only the included utensils but several extra tools. Most utensil holders are too short. The utensils themselves are very nice and high quality. Clearly these are not for use on nonstick cookware, but you can easily add some tools to the set that would fulfill all your needs. The tools are have long handles and are easy to grip/use. I'm not real crazy about the lip on the end, but it's not really a negative. The utensils are solid pieces of stainless steel. You don't have to worry about warping, bending, or breaking. I love the looks as well as the utility. So shiny and eye-catching! I added some of my old Stainless utensils. I am on a personal mission to eliminate as much plastic as I can, so this just feels right.

I would not pay $100+ for this set again if I had the choice. Maybe around 80. The set is nice. It has good basics. They've held up well to frequent use over several months and going through the dishwasher. While I am sure these will last a long time, I've got alternatives I've paid less for that do the job just as well. The size is good - not huge, but not small either. The shape is good. I've been looking for a nice set of quality cooking utensils for years now. All I ever find are the cheap stainless ones that rust after the first wash, or the cheapo plastic ones that look like crap on your counter, or the wooden ones which are okay but not necessarily as easy to clean. These are really nice. They feel durable, 18/10 stainless, didn't rust during a run through the dishwasher, and have a nice weight to them. They also match my All-Clad copper core pots and pans which is an added bonus. For the price, you can't go wrong. They really need to make a larger set though. I understand these are the basic items you'll use but almost all of us need the slotted flipper, pasta spoon, and a few other pieces. Definitely worth the price. Also, I have seen a brushed stainless set on Amazon if that's more your style. Not sure if it was just the container that was brushed stainless or the utensils as well but anyway, if that's what you want, do a quick search on Amazon and you'll find it. ... show more

Like new, yes I’d have to agree. Maybe there’s something there but their utensils that will be used. This is all 1st impression stuff but I’m happy to have found a good price on a great set and my wife is delighted as well. I will have to find a weight source to keep everything upright, but with things like this, that was predictable - I’ll figure something out. You can make your own assessments on ergonomics, comfort and integration into your workplace/kitchen space. From where we stand this represents a great product for a great price from a vender that delivers as advertised and understands that prompt ship and delivery really do affect overall experience in a positive way. ... show more
